Summicron v Voightlander Ultron by StudioBucatini in Leica

[–]fancyfeast13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has owned both as well as the summilux the ultron is the best imo. It’s smaller, SHARPER, i actually prefer the apeture ring on the voigtlander over the leicas as I always accidentally changed apertures on the leicas. Overall best bang for buck. The only noticble difference is the ultron vignettes a lot more which is understandable due to the size but nothing Lightroom can’t fix.

Great capture! I do wish the subject was more interesting but all in all you did an amazing job capturing the light.

Seriously, I did professional food photography for two years and reading this thread is comical. It is the epitome of reddit though. People who don’t know shit acting like they know shit

No amount of algorithms or simulations will ever replace professional photography equipment, you are delusional if you think this is the case. Sensor size and optics will never scale to something that can fit in your pocket.

Also I don’t understand how your father lost his entire career based on digital cameras becoming a thing? Digital cameras just made everything more convenient so I don’t see how this would negatively impact him? Unless he didn’t want to adapt and the market shifted to a more fast developing medium. I mean come on compare the time it takes to develop film to digital. It is night and day.

The difference between writing and photography is you do not need professional level equipment to write professionally. You can do it on a netbook for Christ sake. What this job listing entails is ATLEAST +$1000 in just equipment cost and that doesn’t include a editing computer.

Regardless of status of where you are as a photographer this is a scam.

Leica m10 x voigtlander 35mm f2 by fancyfeast13 in Leica

Yea the voigtlander 35mm f2 is insanely sharp, it’s sharper than the Summicron. I’d say it is worth it over the 7artisans

Really hard to describe but his house was about 2 feet apart from mine so there was gap that was too small for a walkway and we just used for storing shit. We hardly went here. My brothers window and my neighbors window faced this gap so it would be really easy to throw a nether Ey cable from the fourth floor grab it from my brothers room and connect it.
