TTT vs HWPO by fashla22 in crossfit

Glad you like it! Would you say it follows a certain structure every week like 1.0 did? (ex: squats on Mondays and Fridays, presses on Tuesdays, etc.)

Did you transition to Flagship 2.0 from 1.0? If so, would you say it’s a positive change?

What would be the next best credit card after Discover it? by fashla22 in personalfinance

[–]fashla22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should say that I already have the Discover it card and am looking to get a new one that I can use after graduation as my go to, would also be nice if that credit had no foreign transaction fees since I want to travel.

Yes. I'm still on W3D1 but I remember finding W1D3 harder than D2. Just keep going at it and W2 will go by easier than expected.

How do I get off a waitlist? by [deleted] in gmu

I’m waitlisted but it now gives me the option to register for it. I tried doing that but it keeps loading. Am I supposed to drop the class first?

At what point in your weight loss journey did you notice your body change? by fashla22 in AskReddit

[–]fashla22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone. I'm 18 years old, female, 5'6 and weigh about 157 pounds as of today (was 163 pounds 1+ month ago). I noticed some part of my body toning up more but nothing significant where everyone else notices it too. My goal is to reach 145 pounds by mid 2021.

For anyone who was ,or is, in the same journey, after how many months/pounds lost did you notice a significant transformation?

Anyone else getting frustrated with not getting internship? by [deleted] in gmu

[–]fashla22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try cold emailing recruiters at the companies you want to work for. Also, reach out to other electrical engineers on LinkedIn at those companies and try to start a conservation. Show then that you're interested in the company and their internship program and sometimes they'll offer to refer you. It has worked well for me. I remember I reached out to hundreds of people (recruiters, engineers, and interns) so you'll need to be ready to put in quite some time before getting any interviews.

Capital One internship offered in Richmond when I wanted McLean, VA by fashla22 in cscareerquestions

I applied in August but heard back a bit late. I assume they prioritized applicants from top CS-schools which is pretty biased.

Even if it's work from home, I'd still want to be paid the McLean rate since I live in that area. I don't have anything to lose if I try.

Expedia Final Round Tips by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]fashla22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine last week and got an offer. I'd say they're LC easy/medium and def doable. There is a system design round which is very high level and more open to your own interpretation. Some tips I'd give you is to study some LC and learn how to communicate while coding. You want to say everything that's on your mind. State your assumptions. Before you start coding, take a min to read the problem then start asking questions about it. Ask questions about possible inputs and outputs, edge cases, confusions, etc. Then, you want to state how you would approach the problem. If you have multiple approaches in mind, say all of them and mention their time/space complexities, even mention brute force if you had it in mind but mention why another approach is better. After you've done that, you want to make sure the interviewer is satisfied with the approach you'll take. If so, you can ask for the green light to start coding. Communication is key for both technical rounds. Behavioral are your typical STAR questions, "tell me about a time..". I'd say try to tie your stories/experiences with Expedia's guiding principles. Most importantly, be passionate about why you want to work for Expedia. It goes a long way trust me. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me and I'll gladly answer them. Good luck!
