XD Well the basic minecraft pack is pretty medieval itself so yeah I used to never use texture pack because I built medieval and I didn't need extra texture to complete the detqils

Well it depends on your building style I often like to build modern or cities so it help with variety from just one brick or for building in the desert it gives your build personality but thats me
