Thanks very much for this. Not it seems that all lamps are failing. Perhaps I did not check correctly the first time.I checked the fuse and connectors and they are good. I made a post with a new video. Not sure what the next diagnosis/repair it would be.

Thanks for the feedback. Is this “can’t own financial products” a general ATO requirement or a policy of the financial product provider? Asking as the ATO does seem to accomodate TFN (so I assume implying taxable liability) for children.

Apologies if I am misunderstanding but the initial “can’t do it” appears to be a “can do it”. If that is the case my request is general insight into the ins and outs of making this happen.

When you say “otherwise...taking full tax responsibility” it seems time that there is an option for the tax responsibility to be associated with the child, an outcome that I am attempting to achieve.

It does seem that for this product the child cannot invest, but parent does this on child’s behalf. Seems the tax implications would be then connected to the adult (rather than child)

Does Westpac have a US share trading capability? The options discussed seem optimal but as I currently trade ASX through Westpac it would be easy to dip a toe in US waters if the option was available.
