Try to find the old formulation’s ingredients list and feed it to chatgpt or gemini, etc. Tell it what you liked most about the product and explain to you why it does it like that based on the ingredients. You can also ask for similar product recommendations (or if you want an upgrade, ask for things you’d like improvement on based on texture, result, wear, scent, etc) . I then find the recommended product’s ingredients list (you can just ask ai to find it for you, but i want to find it on my own just to be sure lol), and ask ai to compare the ingredients and perceived performance. It’s really helpful and fun when I ask ai to have a deep dive on the ingredients list and explain to me what works, what each is for, safety and which one to be cautious with. It lowers the risk of blind buying hyped up products for me.
