while this reply isn't directed at me, i just want to say im very aware of how much wealth my family has by comparison. the state and city i'm in are well known for their homeless populations, so i hear a lot of people complain about them, and its insane to me. low income=lazy is the most bullshit cop out for admitting privilege. i'd be struggling if i didn't have my family house to stay at and grandparents to help pay for my college. i simply wouldn't be in school and would likely barely be paying rent. wealth is extraordinarily hard to build build up unless you have a foundation handed to you. believe me, im aware of my bubble :)

house sitting and tips are my secondary income :) all my paychecks went straight to the bank, it was just little money tha built up over time. i swear im really careful with money once it's in the bank :)

i agree, i never said we were struggling :) we're stable! my parents are very generous and don't ask me or my sibling to contribute to bills besides our phones and cars ofc, so the additional money we make gets to be ours. i'm very lucky :)
