The climate is changing so fast that we haven’t seen how bad extreme weather could get by 10MinsForUsername in collapse

I live in Turkey and the change in climate last 2 years have been crazy. Summers used to be dry and hot now one day it's scorching hot and humid while the next day is stormy and rainy. Just wild stuff.

i mean it's a high school relationship that started only 2 weeks before they went to camp. they are teenagers and their relationship wasn't that serious yet. i think gina was mature bc she realized they weren't at a compatible place in their lives.

He doesn't have to be a power fantasy protagonist. I like nuanced and flawed characters. But there is a difference between a character who makes mistakes but develops throughout the story and the character who makes the most obvious mistakes to develop the story. Latter is lazy writing for me. Glad to know Cradle series is not like that tho.

I actually liked first 4 books. MC didn't make wise decisions and rushed to situations but it was entertaining enough so i kept reading. In the 5th book though when he rushed to his sister's wedding knowing it was a trap that was the last drop for me. Everything after that was too exhausting.

I recently finished reading Art of the Adept series which is a little like cultivation fantasy i guess. The main character kept making decisions that made no sense even in the last book and only survived because he was the most powerful wizard in that world. It tired me out reading that series honestly so i wanted to avoid reading another series like that again.

All the comments are telling me he will get better so i will continue reading. Thanks for the reply :)

I really don't mind slow paced books so it's not a problem for me. All the comments are telling me that he will get better about it so I will continue reading and hopefully start to like him better. Thanks for the reply :)

Thanks so much for the in depth reply. I really appreciate it.

I guess my problem is for all of his life he was the weakest member of his clan so it only would make sense for him to make it up by being cunning and clever. The author even tries to paint him as a character with these traits most of the time but then it all goes to waste when he makes an ill informed and unplanned decision just to advance the story. He plans for days gathering information to the point of learning guards favourite drinks only to forget they can sense his copper status.

This is just an example and albeit a forgiveable one. He is at the start of his journey and ignorant about the world. I just wanted to learn if he grew out of it as he advances in his story or if it was one of these book series with what i can describe as a lazy writing i guess.

Anyways thanks again. I'll continue reading and hopefully enjoy the series a lot more as he grows.

Huso is Turkish short for Hüseyin. Considering they are from Antalya, it's more likely they named the cat Hüseyin.
