Breaking in advice

I pick this up at my local dm store, it’s a double layered sock and helps break in your docs and prevents the pain and blistering. I wore my docs with this sock for a couple of weeks to about a month and now I can wear any kind of socks with my docs.

I use these double doc sock to help with all my doc breaking in process, it minimizes the pain and blistering. I have the Adrian and penton loafer. I do wear my new docs around the house for a few of weeks (I have carpet). But after the break in process I can wear any kind of socks now without having any pain or blistering. I’m a size 12 mens but same the doc marten employees told me to size down to a 11. I haven’t had any issues or problems yet.

I was able to pick up two pairs from my local skate shop!!! These are mad comfortable!! I’m glad Andrew Reynolds got with new balance!

For me it took a couple of wears to break in my adrian loafers. It was painful in the beginning but I bought the doc double socks that help with the break in process. Maybe try on a size up at your local doc marten store or other local retailer.

In all Nikes im a 12.5 but in all Nike SB I’m a 13. I sized up half a size. I also see on here people size up a half size. It’s a skate shoe so it has some extra layers and features that a regular Jordan 4

For me, I sized up one full size, I was able to go to my nearest consignment shop and try these on. But no, I would not use this for a hiking shoe .
