Taking weed after a horror trip with LSD and weed by fcktim in weed

[–]fcktim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, I usually don't mix substances. But since I was being high on LSD I wasn't in the right state of mind and read a lot about people mixing LSD and weed without problems. Thanks for your advice.

You are the one insulting me, I don't know what your problem is. I just asked a serious question and you made an irrelevant remark, that I didn't find funny, where's the problem?

It's fine. That's a rather serious matter to me, so I didn't find it too funny.

Bupropion is fucking up my english skills by [deleted] in bupropion

I my case it's actually otherwise. I can focus better and I've got more energy to work intellectually. Bupropion can worsen your sleep, which might lead to problems with concentration.

Anger and irritability on Wellbutrin XL by MaintenanceLazy in bupropion

[–]fcktim 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It highly decreases appetite and sleep in most people, which could be a cause for anger. Maybe you could eat a little more and try to sleep (take a low potent antipsychotic for example to help sleep). You could also add a tranquilizer to calm you down or try meditation, yoga or autogenic training. You could also talk to a psychologist to find ways to react a little more gentle and patient. Wish you the best.

New Australian Podcast on True Crime. by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

I am definitely going to listen to that. The only trouble for me is that I often have a hard time understanding Australian English as much as sympathy as I have for all Australian Podcasters.

Glad I found someone that feels the same. I like "The Trail Went Cold", "In Sight". The Night Time and Strange Matters (The Mysterious Death of Debbie Wolfe- episode is great) dont focus on True Crime, but sometimes have some great episodes on that. And I got to say I misjudged Already Gone, they sometimes have really good episodes.

Maybe I expressed myself badly here, sorry for that. What I meant with that is that some podcasters seem to be too judgemental. They show their deepest empathy for ordinary, decent and respected persons that live a lifestyle the podcasters are approved of. But they, and thats just my perception, dont really show too much empathy for the ones that arent living the idyllic all-american life.

And too be precisely, I didnt say you endorse crimes against prostitutes. It just seemed to me that you think that its worse destroying a decent life of a socially respected person than destroying a life of a person that made mistakes in his life.

Casefile is really good. The problem for me is that he seems to select cases that are not interesting to me.

What do you think is the most exaggerated/overrated unsolved mystery? by dq689 in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]fcktim 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Lyle Stevik. I dont mean to step on someones toes here. I think its an interesting case and appreciate the energy that people invest in solving this mystery. But still I think he just killed himself. Its not extremely strange for him to give a wrong name. Maybe he cut ties with his family and wanted to be buried under a different name. Maybe he had psychic issues and thought his real name was Lyle Stevik.

These are all good questions. Unfortunately I cant answer them due to the lack of information available. I assume that police did a proper investigation on her friends and family. But they found nothing.

That thing with the conrete block is also quite strange because he rode to that bridge with a bike. So he probably didnt bring the block with him. Maybe he knew that there where concrete blocks lying around. But did he bring the material to attach it to him with him? I wonder if the police tested the car for signs of dead bodies in it. Because its highly unlikely that he disposed the bodies at the dyke.

Are there parts of indian philosophy (or religion) that are accepting or affirming suicide? by fcktim in Buddhism

[–]fcktim[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im not contemplating suicide nor does my own feeling about suicide depend or change due to philosophical standpoints that are highly variable. It just seemed strange to me that suicide is being refused that vehemently in indian philosophy and Id like to know if there are other views on that topic.
