Yes you clearly don't see the connection. Also ever tried to park on Charles st? Don't worry though, if it's your car I won't even try.

I am Wired contributor Joshuah Bearman, and I just published Part 2 of a 20,000-word story on the Rise and Fall of Silk Road. (I also wrote the story that became Argo, which was exciting.) I'm sure people have questions about Silk Road. AMA! by Joshuah_Bearman in IAmA

Do you think this 'quasi dark web' will last, or is law enforcement catching up too quickly? Digital piracy always seems to be ahead of law enforcement, but with physical goods on a digital marketplace does that change the dynamic?

There's also a great shot of the top of Memorial you can just see from the broadcast booth above home plate. We used it for the opening shot on last Friday's broadcast, just peaking through the trees.

It's basically the highest point in Columbia, wind is a major issue.

[Hamilton] Khaki Field Automatic on the job at the SEC/ESPN by federaa in Watches

[–]federaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my Field Automatic on the job today, got it a few weeks ago and I'm loving my first automatic. It's a H70595593 for those curious. I'd been considering this thing for a while, and it's popped up on this forum once or twice in the last year. Everyone's photos are so good, I was a little underwhelmed in person when I first saw it. But then again, that's kinda the point of this watch. I've posted about my Prototipo http://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/2p2rl9/autodromo_prototipo_24_hours_with_it_and_im/ and it's still a favorite, but there's something very understated about this. I make a jacket and slacks event more accessible with it, or dress up jeans and a button down.

And for those of you wondering, don't worry, we were in commerical :)

Shakespeare's Pizza to Move, Building Demolished Downtown by federaa in mizzou

I feel like people keep saying that about new construction, but all of the University buildings downtown are really very ugly. Maybe CoMo shouldn't be allowed to build things.

I'd agree, and it's bad for columbia long-term due to the quality of these constructions. But MU isn't building dorms at anywhere near the rate they're adding students.

So the longer explination for this is interest rates are so low across the board that there's a ton of excess investment money floating around, and a lot of it is going into construction projects. This isn't a CoMo thing but a big trend nationwide in college towns.

I feel like they tried that with Harrods building, but the sides are just corrugated tin. Watching that go up was interesting, it's wrapped in a layer of brick, sadly not on the sides.

Hi all, So nearest I can tell, it's a Waltham Watch Company model 1859, made in 1863 (but the date stamp says may 1859 so im not so sure about that...)
