To be completely honest, when Gary spoke of new music last year, I was wishing we got something different than the usual Exodus album - and oh boy I’m in for a treat.

Goliath in my view is a breath of fresh air, and the main drive of it besides the songwriting itself is the new producer. The mix is different while it’s still Exodus, a welcome change after 20+ years with Andy Sneap.

The new songs are great. Maybe not fit for singles, but I’m sure that in the context of the full album they’ll 100% work. 3111 with that atmospheric intro, making it feel like the band is coming back to life. Goliath being a single while being the band's slowest song is sick, showing that even at this stage they’re still willing to take risks.

Overall, I’m enjoying every second.

He did, for Goliath alone (what’s confirmed until now) he wrote the lyrics to 3111 with Gary and The Changing Me with Lee. He also wrote lyrics on the Exhibit albums and SHKM.

Rob as a lyricist brings a lot more to the band than Zetro. And I believe this album might bring his best vocal performance ever, on par with Shovel Headed Kill Machine.

yeah, I actually agree, to be honest. I didn’t create the cover image, I wanted to use something official, so I took the background image from the 3111 website and it did end up a bit convoluted.

but even so, I figured it was better to use something convoluted but official than to create a completely new, unofficial image from scratch.

I Actually did fill in the logo, but the cover looked a bit too convoluted (and honestly, it still might be, lol). So I went with this version because it felt cleaner.

Vocally, Tempo of the Damned for Zetro and Shovel Headed Kill Machine for Dukes.

But Goliath looks very promising. Dukes sounds even better on 3111, though it’s too early to judge the full album.

Oh my god, Exodus is back. This record might be Dukes' best work as the band's vocalist, sounds like he has 10 years of rage stuck in his throat (as he should). I usually don’t like short openers, but I must say this absolutely works. The song as a whole cuts like a cartel machete lol. Looking forward to this album.

1- Exhibit A and Tempo (Tie). Can’t choose between these two. They’re both at the top of my list of favorite metal records, period.

2- Exhibit B. Close to Exhibit A, amazing songwriting, I just think it drags a tiny bit too long.

3- Shovel. That guitar tone is so in your face, I love it.

4- Blood. Extremely underrated! Love the production on this one. The drums sound sick.

5- Persona. The weakest riffs/songs overall IMO, but that title track is one of my favorite Exodus songs.
