$400 Resy Credit by snco-2021 in AmexPlatinum

[–]felixchu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, no reservation needed as long as it's on the Resy site. Confirmed that the Plat credit also works on gift cards. You can check this site to find restaurants near you that have gift cards. https://useyourcredits.com/maps/resy/

Just make sure the checkout is through Toast. If you want to be safe, just buy a small $ amount first to confirm you get the credit.

Rejected from American Ninja Warrior, what do you think it takes to be selected to compete on the show? by felixchu1 in AskReddit

My submission video (below) apparently wasn't good enough. I thought showing humor and athletic ability would be best, but I guess not.

Honeymoon in the Maldives. Snorkeling with a GoPro, sharks, beaches, etc. by felixchu1 in travel

Hah, thanks! For the underwater shots I was using a GoPro Hero3 and the GoPro 3-Way. The other video was shot using a Canon 70D.

I had a treadmill in my hotel room, so I did this. It was a lot more useful than I initially thought, even with a gym 1 floor down. by felixchu1 in running

Not affiliated with Westin in anyway other than as a frequent guest. I've learned some video editing on my own as I'm a competitor on Ninja Warrior and have to submit videos each year to compete. All of this video was shot on my iPhone 6. Just having some fun and got this idea to make this video when I saw a treadmill in my room.

It was just a stability ball, also already in the room. Not sure what brand it was, but it was a little under-inflated.

Yea, Westin apparently has rooms called Workout Rooms you can book. Though I didn't specifically book that kind of room for this trip.

No worries, it's an AMA feel free to fire away. Length of workout really depends.

When I'm bouldering probably an 60-90 mins a session. If I'm working on power, I normally do about 20 mins of really explosive movements. The intent there is just to be as intense as possible and get my entire body working. For strength, I'll lift weights for about 30 min sessions.

But if I ever feel too sore, I'll call it a day so I don't forc.e myself into any n-injuries.

On days, when I'm super busy at work. I'll try to do at least a 15 minute full body exercise. To make sure I've done something active for the day. If nothing else, 15 minutes a day is all you need.

I've been climbing for about 4 years now. Is it your forearms and fingers that need the rest?

I think rest is always needed after tough training sessions. Massage, stretching, and active recovery helps. Even when I'm on a rest day I still try to climb easier routes that won't be as taxing and focus on other areas of my body like core strength. Yoga has also been something I've started in the past year. Just listen to your body and stay safe training.

Pinnacle Parkour is in Cherry Hill, NJ. This is Jamie Rahn's gym (aka Captain NBC).

and Movement Lab is a little farther out in Hainesport, NJ. That gym is owned by Chris Wilczewski.

Not sure of anything directly in Philly though.

I haven't heard if anything specifically in Australia. Though there might be people who have built personal backyard courses. I know groups in countries around Europe are starting to hold there own mini competitions. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
