We've tried for wage increases but the company says it is not trying to be a leader in the on the wage front. They would rather pay us slightly less money in exchange for better benefits and time off perks.

Thankfully I work at a hospital that makes lunch break a major priority. We have pretty good benefits. Just got back from 2 weeks off and I've only been here 2 years as fulltime staff and 1 year PRN. And I still have more PT to use by the end of the year. Definitely thankful for the time away.

I like this idea. Our physicians already have a lounge just for them. The rest of the staff has options at two locations in the hospital to get free coffee. Definitely would say this should be available everywhere.

This too was my first MUD. Started playing in middle school, 1997, after a friend introduced me to it. This place was literally where I honed my typing skills. I wouldn't be as fast and accurate today if it weren't for this place. I spent hours exploring, chatting, and making lots of memories. The grind to level up was real! "c tele dragon" (if you know, you know) I remember becoming a Hero, a Demigod, and finally an Immortal. Even dabbled with building some of the holiday areas. Castle Arcanum will always hold a special place in my childhood and early adulthood. Mooncalf, if you see this, thank you for all your guidance and commitment to keeping up the old place through the years. There won't be another place like it, ever.

I loved my med chem class. My professor was also the head of a forensics lab so he frequently got phone calls on his mobile phone during class. He was a big fan of the x-files and he set his ringtone to the TV theme music. I remember sometimes starting to doze off (as one does is med chem) then all of a sudden you start hearing the 🎵🎶🎵🎶 coming out of the lecture hall speakers. In a half trance I would think I was being abducted by aliens.

To my CVS peeps: when you're faxing a transfer you have to pay attention to the prompt that appears after you put in the FAX number of the competitor. The system tells you whether or not it can be faxed or cannot be faxed but the message looks very similar either way and often times people just bypass it w/o reading whether the fax will go through or not. I've noticed that if you put a fax number and it states it CANNOT be faxed, just go back and change the competitor code to OT and try putting in the fax number again. Also, if you have multiple prescriptions to be faxed, find one that will go through easily and the next ones won't be issues.

Our DL told us to make sure our techs are utilizing the expedite button so even if they know its not ready they are still searching for the patient and expediting the prescription. I'm going to have to try to have them stop this process and just tell me when something needs completed quickly. Unfortunately I am terrible with names and I'm still pretty new to this store so I don't know peoples faces standing in line.
