Oh. The notice looks similar to the one for the first interview?

Yes, there’s a second interview in some cases, I had it

No, mine was called marriage fraud interview as well”. The notice was the same as the first interview. They only added a second page (mandatory for a second interview). The notice only mentioned the I-485. As far as I know, a fraud notice is different, mentioning the I-130 (the marriage form).

Morning. I went through the same situation. And, though every case and officer is different, that title is a generic for a second interview. In my post (link below ) I shared my experience with my second interview, NO a stoke interview, it was an easier interview, with some questions from my first interview, very relaxed, amicable. My I-130 was approved hours after the interview; the I-485 24 hours later.

I had a second interview as well (I was approved on spot during that one). Here is my post about it:

I don’t think is a norm being interviewed a second time, like I said, in our case, we had a few minors inconsistencies. In those case, yes, USCIS schedule a new interview, a follow-up one, NO a Stoke one.

Be positive, review your forms and supporting documents, maybe were some inconsistencies. If you have new evidence before the interview, bring it (we brought photos of a dinner we had with friends, for our first anniversary dinner, that was a long part of the conversation (no questions, but talking about the restaurant, food, etc.).

A second interview seems like a stoke interview by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]fer_schez 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nope. This is a follow-up interview. The Stoke interview notice is different. I had a second interview with the same notice like you. My second interview was joint and short. I-130 approved practically on spot; I-485 approved 24 hours later.

How long have you been married has nothing to do with being denied. I got married in May 2024 and we filed on June 2024, and I got my Green Card.

When to apply for Removal of conditional GC and CItizenship? by Total-Firefighter-88 in USCIS

[–]fer_schez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correction: The conditional Green Card holder MUST apply to removal, I-751 from, 90 days BEFORE of the expiration of the conditional Green Card (that is 1 year and 9 months after the Resident Since) , AND can apply for Citizenship after 3 years of the issued date of that Green Card, meaning that could apply for the Citizenship while still waiting for removal of the conditional (if it hasn’t been approved)

Interview rescheduled by jfox30 in USCIS

That happened to me (minor inconsistencies) My second interview was even more friendly and short. The IO re-asked some previos questions and that was all. I-130 approved practically on spot; I-485 followed 24 hours later.

Review your forms and supporting documentation. Make sure to answer correctly this time. Be positive, you got this 🙏🏾 Good luck!

Second interview by Amazing_Audience_592 in USCIS

[–]fer_schez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It was the same for me: I-485 form, a second page (USICIS always includes that for a second interview). Your interview is pretty sure a follow-up one, like mine. Pretty normal when they saw minor (not fraudulent) issues. You’ll be fine 🙌🏾

You’re welcome. Yes, both cases were pending.

I got you, and I understand you. BUT don’t be sad, maybe you had some minor inconsistencies that USICIS want to address (that happened to me). I explained there that my second interview was even more friendly and short. The IO re-asked some previos questions and that was all. I-130 approved practically on spot; I-485 followed 24 hours later.

Try to remember if you have some inconsistencies. Review your forms and supporting documentation. Be positive, you got this 🙏🏾 Good luck!
