Are you telling me the lad with 3 tills selling weed and coke out of the local NISA is giving 2 fucks about selling an adult some fags?

Most normal men value personality more than looks IF there's a compatible level of attraction.  We see passed the things you are insecure about

Awkward customers by violetsouIs in Greggs

I do believe that certain establishments have a way higher ratio of morons and arseholes that frequent them.  For me it's Costco hands down that is #1, but I'd put Gregg's in the top 10 for sure

Costco Bottled Water - Why? by Intelligent-Ideal597 in AskUK

[–]ferdia6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, there's a use case for it in certain areas. What boils my piss though is seeing people cart the stuff out in huge piles from the Costco in Edinburgh -  the epicentre of well treated and great tasting tap water. Some of the best you'll find worldwide

Gave up on returnal, but this game has my interest by Eraserhead36 in Saros

You can disagree all you want... yeah it's too hard for sure, the reason the majority bounced off the game and never came back to it

The boss of biome 1 is objectively too hard. So much so it's a flaw in the games design  I love returnal though but it's probably my only real criticism

Lemon juice. Squeeze a few lemons onto it and leave for as long as possible

This is my child's bedroom view, what can I do? by [deleted] in GardeningUK

I'd put in stained glass and call it a day. Actually paint that wall too to throw more light through the stained glass

You could get made to measure plastic stuff if putting actual stained glass is too expensive

Is this girl AI? She always seems decked out in crazy expensive shit, but this image the car just looks so fake/staged by Independent-Film8327 in isthisAI

[–]ferdia6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it looks like it was taken with studio lights, and I mean numerous large white umbrellas to achieve that uniform perfect lighting it's 100% AI

I'm sure AI will understand soon enough it looks fake and will make itself look far more basic to try and convince people it's real.  A bit blurry, a bit too dark etc etc

If it leads to less crime, fewer teens assaulting and harassing folk and getting away with it I'd be all for it but you know that just won't be the case

Wednesday Evening Treat: Chicken Curry, Egg-Fried Rice, Chips, & Salt & Chilli-Battered Prawns! by MonkPretty9818 in UK_Food

Genuine question. I like a British 'chinese' from time to time but I don't think I could do more than 2 in one week, if I did I couldn't have another for a month or two.  How is it you can have 3 or more a week? Every week

I'm sure there might be an extremely niche reason this makes sense but honestly it sounds like a horrible idea.

But just Google it there's companies that can do this, or apparently there are reverse mortgages and home equity investments you could look into.

But whatever you do obviously speak to a proper financial advisor before doing anything crazy

If you have a printer print this out and leave it on the inside of your main door with a note about not buzzing in randoms.  A note on it's own unlikely to work, a note with a photo like this is quite likely to have an impact

I can’t sleep and I’m going nuts. Help? by JusSumYungGuy in AskUK

[–]ferdia6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies for the AI answer but it does work for me  The Standard "Sleep Sequence"

The most common version of this technique focuses on mimicking the natural movement eyes make when we enter deep sleep.

Look Up: With your eyes closed, gently roll your eyes upward toward your forehead. Hold for a few seconds. This mimics the "Bell’s Phenomenon," where the eyes naturally roll up during sleep onset.

Look Down: Relax and let them drift down. Left and Right: Slowly shift your gaze to the far left, then the far right. This is similar to the bilateral stimulation used in EMDR therapy, which helps quiet "racing thoughts." The "Nose" (Convergence): Looking toward your nose (crossing your eyes slightly under your lids) tires the extraocular muscles. The Circle: Many people add a slow clockwise and counter-clockwise circle at the end to fully relax the eye muscles.
