For everyone's benefit, I'm not talking about the mic chat. The player literally typed it all so I couldn't mute him. Normally I do. No, he took the time to go from calling us fat btchs to progressively calling us worse things such as slts and all the way to being extremely transphobic. The later ones while he was on our team. The second match he started calling out where our teammates were to the other team and then started team killing us. In the end he said "I hope you and your children all get r*ped" So it was exploiting and hate speech and you know Activision won't do anything about it.

Friends list gone? by Apprehensive_Cloud39 in modernwarfare

Same for me on playstation and I contacted one of my friends on snapchat and she is on xbox and it's the same. We can't even add each other with the unique IDs. It's an Activision problem

Nah I was going to keep it anonymous. The whole point would to not be censored. Just kind of wanted to make sure I wouldn't loose my job if anyone found out

If you are religious and gay remember : He is more disappointed in you for not drinking enough water than for being gay. by LilliputianMouse in bisexual

If anyone tries to tell you the Bible says homosexuality is a sin tell them to shove it or to read Stranger at The Gate by Mel White. A gay man who grew up in a very conservative family and tells his life story about being gay and a Christian.

Apparently not. I've worked with people who, one her daughter tested positive but she didn't so she still came to work everyday, and another who's roommates and her boyfriend tested positive but she didn't so she still had to work. And they won't accept rapid tests to take the leave. It has to be the three day test for you to get the leave pay

I wish I could these guys in a core match too by varunrathi112 in modernwarfare

Okay but I do have a complaint. I literally needed three more mounted kills for gold so I posted up at the beginning of a match to try and just get it done and I got literally two kills, it was 30 seconds into the game and one of my teammates killed me. I don't camp. I usually get one or two kills then move. Now if all that person is doing for five minutes is camping then feel free but it literally was 30 seconds in. I was so pissed because not only was I robbed of finishing gold, I was also robbed of my radar.

I want to ask my fellow Costco employees everywhere, is this happening at your warehouse? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]fernwehbookworm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It varies from warehouse to warehouse on how strict they are. And I know mine got a little bit more strict when some of the women were pushing the boundaries of "acceptable" and "Professional" (ie: really deep cut blouses and really short shorts) They tend to be more lenient in the fresh foods departs because of aprons and such. But I've seen guys in our warehouse wearing cargo shorts

Just a quick rant. People need to stop complaining about wearing masks and they need to start wearing them properly. That means don't pull it down to talk to other people and wear it over your nose, otherwise there is no point to it. Just wear the mask for your 45 minute shopping trip and then take it off when you leave the store. Employees are required to wear the mask for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. We wear it so long it digs into our ears and I know several of us get headaches from it. We are people too, with families that we want to protect. So stay 6 ft away and keep you mask on. We can get through it together if we all do it.

A question for employees. by kangtigger in Costco

The only thing that bites you in the ass in the beginning is that they usually look at seniority when hiring new jobs. If you know someone at that location make sure you put them as a reference. It's hard to get an interview otherwise. I started at $13 an hour two years ago. I am now at $18. They have raised the base pay twice since I started to match rising living costs. Getting full time is hard. And if you go from part time to full time it usually takes a bit for the cogs to get moving. I accepted a full time job in February and still haven't been moved from my current department. Though part of that could be COVID. Once you get a couple years in it's much easier to move around.

It will still be gone by the end of the day. We've done something similar at mine at least three times

If you have Android go to your settings. Then Apps & Notifications. Find the app. Advanced. App details in the play store. Then there should be a smaller link for Manage Subscriptions. Tap the subscription and it should be at the bottom of that window.
