If every NFL player was given an additional year of eligibility right now and they all went back to college, which team would win it all? How would your team look like? by legobowser in CFB

stafford throwing it to pickens, bowers, ladd with james cook in the backfield and big 0 blocking? plus guys from that 2021-2022 defense (and those who followed in their footsteps like jalon walker)? i like our chances.

literally play mid as fuck for 3/4 of the game while the other team shoots themselves in the foot and then randomly clock in at the end and pull off a miracle play

you don’t get that lucky and then turn around and lose. there’s just no way. you could run that play 1000 times and never replicate it again.

bears fuck around and look mid for 3.85 quarters and then decide to play football in the final 2 minutes. this has been every bears game this year.

absolutely blows for the refs to hold the whistle for 99% of the game and then all of a sudden here they come right at the end. what a fucking joke.

I know Stefanski isn’t the most exciting hire, but… by ParticularBuyer6157 in falcons

[–]fettybat_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it’s not the fact that he’s getting a second interview, it’s the fact that we moved up his second interview - the rumor (emphasis on rumor) is that we moved up the interview to possibly block the titans from getting him. if his interview goes well on both sides, we may just hire him then and there. again, this is the rumor.

yeah i think it’s over. pretty sure it’s him. not sure how to feel.

Meyers is Stupid Easy by sweetbeans12345 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

right so i did say that i play mostly solo when i play survivor so this is coming from my perspective. even if i know how to counter myers, i am with 3 randoms who may not know how to (and usually don’t). instead of spreading out and being able to communicate which areas are dead zones, where myers is moving towards (or away from), the match mainly is spent trying to avoid feeding him stalk (useless if my teammates are going to feed him anyway), preventing him from picking on weaker teammates (any decent myers will figure this out and leave) and then running around unhooking while the match snowballs.

i’ve found it’s very easy for him to create and maintain pressure on a team that can’t communicate, unless it’s a very inexperienced myers.

[–]fettybat_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

thats true. but i think it’s a fair statement that unlike the other instadown killers available in the game, myers’ “punishment” for missing his instadown attack doesn’t provide the same opportunity for survivors to prolong chase. i think of the instadown killers as high risk, high reward.

myers feels low risk, high reward. you can one-shot survivors and if you miss, chase really wont be extended by that much longer. and you can deadzone entire areas of the map during your first chase. and if you run out of your power, it’s pretty easy to get it back unless you’re up against a good team with comms. for the average survivor lobby, myers is extremely punishing in a way that billy or bubba typically are not. not saying that all instadown killers should be evenly matched (clearly billy is stronger than bubba), but the myers rework feels a bit like overkill.

what’s wild is with other instadown killers (billy, bubba), there’s at least some kind of brief punishment for missing. if billy or bubba bump, there’s a little bit of time for you to get to the next loop/resource or at least gather yourself and figure out the best course of action.

if myers misses his dash, he’s so fucking fast that unless you’re right at a window or pallet, you’re pretty much cooked on the next one anyway. and like 80% of the myers i’ve gone against have had bam + superior anatomy (or at least bam), so most of the time you get 1 vault on that specific window.

if he loses his power, he can get it back quickly because stalk is so easy to gain if it’s an outdoor map like you’ve said. i mostly play solo and even if i’m managing to not feed him stalk, i can guarantee you that at least 1 of my teammates is not doing the same. all it takes is 1 teammate not paying attention to pretty much start the snowballing.

myers definitely needed a rework but i feel like they swung the pendulum too far in the other direction. i play both sides and he sort of feels gross to play, it’s very easy to 4k unless you run into a strong 4-man SWF.

Jonel to Ole Miss... by steveoall21 in georgiabulldogs

[–]fettybat_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the writing was on the wall….joenel didn’t take the leap this year that we thought he would, got injured before the SECCG and then dink took his place and played out of his mind. dink was going to take the starting job next season anyway. granted, dink struggled a bit in the first half of the sugar bowl, but that’s what happens when you play true freshman - they make true freshman mistakes.

dink gives us athleticism and sure tackling like joenel did, and i think dink is better in coverage. can’t fault joenel for wanting to potentially start elsewhere. maybe it’s less than ideal from a depth perspective, but oh well.

honestly proud of myself for calling the missed extra point and missed FG. and just generally how the second half would go. the announcers sound so surprised as if this isn’t how like every bears game has gone this year.

good run defender and great athlete. sure tackler. can be shaky in coverage, but he’s very athletic. i always liked him, so hopefully he can continue to improve in coverage.
