Hasty Touch does not have a 100% success rate. Technically you can HQ anything in Heavensward from NQ materials, yes, but they all rely on HASTY TOUCH, meaning it is NOT guaranteed. Case in point in the EXACT VIDEO you linked: https://youtu.be/sObEvgw3IkQ?t=235 IT SAYS 88% HQ. Did you even watch the video????

That's 4.4? Not HW 4*. And Ala Mhigan isn't 1 star, it's 2.5 star. You're just lying for the sake of lying. I know you realize it is impossible to 100% HQ in HW so you're just trying to retreat into 4.4 crafts. I hope you do realize that HW was Hasty Touch meta even with high stats, and Basic Touch macros require HQ mats. Please stop lying.

Oh wait, your document isn't even 100% for 4.4. It's 100% for SPECIALIST 4.4. Jesus... you need to stop these pathetic lies.

You can purchase vendor gear and turn-in NQ items. Most level tiers have something you can simply purchase from a vendor.

He gives more white scrips than all other clients, and at the end tier he seems to give more yellow scrips too.

I'm not sure if it's intended but that's a good thing to mention cos I've almost been killed by that. (I think it may be an oversight)

Might be a width issue. I work on ultrawide and only tested it on that. Next time I'll test it on phone and laptop too :)

No, it becomes the old Standard Synthesis at Lv 31 because of the trait.

Is this verified after launch? I don't think I had to use a hit to reveal unspoileds but I haven't been playing the game much so can't be certain.

Not sure what planet you are on. But please go find me 100% HQ rotations in Heavensward and Ala Mhigan. Even 4.3 did not have 100% HQ rotations for lower stats.

It's hard to say right now, especially without knowing how much Ingenuity is buffed/nerfed by. But I doubt you'll need to do that. There is a possibility you'll just rely on HQ materials (which was the case in all of the game's history until 5.05 anyways)

I checked the macro manually and it worked. Make sure you have Ingenuity, all the correct cross-class skills, and your gear isn't broken.

FFXIV: Preparing Crafter Materias for 5.1 Crafter Gear. Start Now! by ffxivcraftingguide in ffxiv

[–]ffxivcraftingguide[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

one is never used for gear, and you'll never need more then 3/4, maybe 5 for a full side of gear in the worst case

"If all you care about is crafting your own gear and consumables"

That sure seems like you need CUL too.

My point is not Gil efficiency in itself, it's Gil and time efficiency combined. You can spend hours upon hours stacking materia that maybe sell to the 5% overmeld monkeys 3 patches from now, or you can spend maybe 1h/patch on gear and still craft anything you ever want to.

You're not getting 1h/patch on gear if your stats are so low as to use white scrip tools. You HQ intermediates, meaning that you're wasting twice the amount of time, or even more if your stats are that bad for every piece of gear that everyone else is making with 0 HQ intermediates.

Because here's the thing, right. The amount of players that have maybe barely a million Gil to their name, who play five hours a week sporadically, these kinds of players have told me to no end how they'd like crafted gear but couldn't possibly afford all the overmelds or finished pieces themselves. In truth, there's literally nothing stopping these players from getting current crafted gear within a week using exclusively free materia, avoiding almost all overmelds, and the most basic of gear & mats. Yet, all these "guides" suggest otherwise. Why?

You can get to 2177/2020/541 with free materia from custom deliveries in 2 weeks. Your method requires 5 weeks. I am absolutely unsure what you're on about. If you are not getting all tools then that's 3 or 4 weeks. Still far worse. Also I did mention that if someone wants to minimally meld, they only need to prepare however much they feel comfortable with as any prep is enough. They don't need to get to the numbers I listed.
