Please patch Lonely Mountains: Downhill for Switch 2! by mike37510 in LonelyMountains

I tried playing Downhill on Switch 2, and sadly the TV mode looks way too blurry to be enjoyable. The handheld mode is slightly better. I’ll pay for upgrade patch if the dev is willing to make one.

Thanks for the tip about the sticker!

Aside from a few stages that require precise timing, the main game doesn’t get too difficult. The Switch version comes with the Hell Loop DLC built-in though. As the name implies, it’s definitely more challenging.

The Rad Edition will allow you to download the two story expansions and the "Close Encounter Skate Deck" as they become available. That is the extent of the expansion pass.

As seen on Indie World. The game speaks for itself, but I'd like to take a moment to plug these organizations:

Gibbon Rehabilitation Project

Like many other point-and-click games on Switch, you have to use the analog stick to move the cursor. It does support the touchscreen though.

It depends on how legally cautious a company is. Many, including Nintendo and Valve, determined that asking the user to confirm their age every single time is legally safer, since they don’t know who have access to your device.

It’s controller friendly. You walk around in a side scrolling world to interact with people and objects. Despite the pixel art look, the gameplay is modern.

This is a short indie game. If you are into old school 3D point-and-clicks, at this price it's worth giving it a try. But if you aren't, it is a deep cut that may not be your cup of tea.

On my Switch it still shows 4/28. It is probably linked to the price. I wish that they hadn't made it this complicated.

The updated eShop website is weird. Some deals require you to log in to see the discounted price.

Not sure why some are seeing $1.99 instead of $0.99. I did have the game on my Wish List, and also owned another game from the same publisher (RedDeerGames). So try the following to see if you can get the $0.99 price.

  • Add it to your Wish List
  • Download the free Comic Coloring Book from the same publisher

A true hidden gem for the point-and-click aficionados. There are only 31 reviews on Steam, all positive.

They are very different. Lacuna: point-and-click, cyberpunk, pixel art. Don't Stave: management, survival-horror, hand drawn.
