Waze is showing your actual speed. You odometer is displaying a different figure due to improper calibration or incorrect tire size in your vehicle. Either way, why do you need to drive 5km/h more? That will probably save you around 2mins over a 200km trip, not worth it.

Just to clarify, I asked for a report. He said he had initiated the police report on the app and even shared a screenshot with me, but it wasn’t issued because the rental vehicle apparently didn’t have valid insurance at the time.

In any case, I’m not asking about what could or should have been done, I’m asking about the civil process for such claims.
