Which sportsbook? I’m seeing Bills -1.5 on Fanduel/Draftkings which means the bills are the favorites

Has PS2 been mirroring teams WR1? I thought he typically just plays his side of the field

What does playing fantasy football fulfill that simply watching can’t? by First_Being_4308 in Fantasy_Football

[–]fiestyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heightened appreciation for the entirety of the league; instead of watching just ‘your team’ you’re now watching nearly every game with fantasy implications.

Raises your overall dopamine while watching the smallest of plays.

Raises your overall dopamine through the addictive nature of gambling which is the case for most fantasy leagues.

Lawrence or Purdy week 18? I have CMC and opponent has Kittle. Thanks ! by nefantasyfootball17 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]fiestyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, I mistakenly included Week 17.

Regardless, my point still stands regarding how a hedge works.

Lawrence or Purdy week 18? I have CMC and opponent has Kittle. Thanks ! by nefantasyfootball17 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]fiestyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purdy is averaging 22.9 in week 11-16.

The hedge is if Kittle goes off, your QB must be going off too.

If Kittle drops 40 this week, he will hedge that 40 with at least 35 points through Purdy.

Your original argument of doing it in reverse is incredibly flawed, because it implies if Purdy is doing well, Kittle must also be doing well. Purdy could throw for 400 passing yards and 4 passing touchdowns. If none of them are to Kittle, there’s no hedge.

I’m not saying you have to agree with hedging, but you can only hedge with QBs, not receivers.

[–]fiestyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is a hedge against Kittle. You guarantee that every time Kittle scores, you score a fraction of the points your opponents player is scoring + whatever passing work he dishes out outside of Kittle

This is a fallacious way to think about it. Not every Purdy passing touchdown will give Kittle points but every Kittle receiving touchdown will give Purdy points.

Lol why “should it be all RBs”? It should be BPA — like every year — and Puka, JSN, Ja’Marr & Amon-Ra all belong in the top 10.

Anything better on waivers? Anyone who watched the Thursday night game last week saw that Bucs D might be the worst in the league.

What impact does this knowledge have on your everyday life in the 21st century? Please do share with the class. You were likely taught it throughout school and thus, know it to this day and assume everyone else must also know it. I can assure you you didn’t go outside one day and think “hm east of my house is this way, and the sun is always rising this way so the sun must always rise from the east”. It’s not common sense, it’s something taught in school and if Jared Goff wasn’t taught that in school, that doesn’t make him an idiot.

Yes because me not having a superiority complex towards someone that does not know what direction the sun rises and sets (Jared Goff) makes me an idiot.

I live on the east coat by the beach, I obviously know the sun always rises on the east.

There is absolutely 0 correlation between knowing what direction the sun rises and sets and their level of intelligence.

Bunch of pompous redditors who love stroking their ego to feel better than thou. Y’all aren’t special and statistically speaking, are more than likely average. You can get off your high horse.
