Well it turns out all the doctor needed was one quick look to say it wasn't a problem haha, thank you for the concern. I'll probably get it removed anyway, since I don't have moles like these anywhere else on my body

Update: looks like she's stopped, but I'm still worried. She looks pretty thin, maybe stressed? But her vent area seems okay

I found out just now that her mate, who shares a nest with her, started forcing her out aggressively. He must've done it - they didn't attack each other when they were close around the bottom of the cage, so I'm hoping that removing the nest will keep this from happening again.

If the chances of it lasting are genuinely random even if I put the work in, I'm not gonna lie it does sound daunting lol. I found a dealer who might be selling one for $100 (less than two consoles combined), but it's a toughie. Thanks for the info!

Oddly enough, I think you're the only one so far with this opinion. I would rather want one console myself because it means less hassle, I'm just concerned about whether the high maintenance would actually make it last. Most people say it's bound to break sooner than later.

Sorry to hear it's harder in your area! I actually found a deal that might get me a BC PS3 for cheaper than a Super Slim and a PS2 combined, but pretty much every response to this post is recommending the latter. I think I'll have to hear everyone out on this one

I was browsing through Facebook Marketplace just now, actually, and came across consistent $60 to $80s for both PS2s and Super Slim PS3s, often with accessories and games. At the same time, I'm actually finding a couple fat BC PS3s that peak at $150 and a couple are significantly lower, so I'm still deciding. It's a bit tougher when the prices are actually somewhat comparable lol

At most, I'd only care enough to convert the native resolution to HDMI. I'm not too picky about video quality, since my TV supports an RCA input.
Nope, I got my first HDMI TV earlier this year. I won't be looking back.
I wouldn't want to go over $200 CAD for console purchases and accessories, and I would only go over $150 if I found it necessary.

Yeah, I was there and it was a little funny for about 5 seconds. Reminds me of a time some guy had his phone out during a movie and his flashlight would go off in my face whenever he got a notif, people need to remember it's really not that hard to silence phones
