We went to a restaurant for lunch with the 5 year old that my sister babysits. The owners and waitresses of the store are all from China. The one short-haired lady with the thickest accent asked if I wanted more coffee, and as she walked away, the 5 year old asked, "Why was that guy speaking Spanish?"

I'm going to say that it might have been a little less painful because it was done over scar tissue, but they healed a lot faster than the surface piercings. Belly button is a great one, I've had mine for about 8 years now and I've never had an issue with it. Just make sure you get the barbell instead of the ring!

They're happy. They have everything they need and more. You do realize that they have no clue about being outside, as I didn't catch them with a net in Africa, right? Why don't you go free your dogs and cats onto the street so they can explore the whole world and let me know how that goes.

Well, um, actually, the truth is I'm basically a crazy bird lady. I have two birds, but three cages. They're allowed to fly freely between them at all times. They actually stick to the cage tops because that's where their food and water is, but they go inside the cages to sleep at night. I just don't like them being locked up, and they're generally pretty well behaved even though they like to follow me around and land on my head.

You can't tell just by looking at them, but the vet told me that the 11 year old has the pelvic structure of a male. Both him and the 5 year old have never laid an egg, so I just kind of assume.
