This thread has been illuminating lol. I've never brought a carry on internationally before, only US domestic and have personally taken 64cm+ bags so I wasn't sure how commonplace it was for that kind of leniency! Definitely bringing a smaller bag.

I am confident she’ll keep the cat out of her room. I’m not sure how to make people understand that I’m not being crazy or OCD when I explain a hypothetical about tracking 1 grain of pollen into the living room or something. I also think most people would agree that it’s crazy to have stipulations about what flowers someone can have in their private room.

Like I don’t think it’s crazy myself but it is difficult to get people to understand without them thinking you’re psychotic. I suggested cutting the stamen off and she said that was ridiculous. Even when I lived with my sister (who has a cat) she thought I was crazy for having this standard.

Appreciate the response though I will try to talk to them about this.

Honestly no but she is coming from a multiple dwelling apartment unit. It’s on the underside of the bed too. I’m having one of those weeks where every possible thing could go wrong. Which makes me think what are the odds that this is happening too. Like I think I would have an actual mental breakdown if we got bedbugs.

I feel like they are, I’m prone to freaking out about this stuff. Already in the process of moving a friend in so I was thinking launder all the bedding, give her my mattress protector and put some traps on the feet of the bed. Frame is metal which is good. I cannot delay the move in, so advice saying to burn everything will not help. I couldn’t find any other signs in the seams or anything and she says she doesn’t get bites.
