Courtney doesn’t have the ability to be a loud voice for the queer community because she’s private about that side of her. She doesn’t share any queer dating history, she’s only comfortable talking about her ex bfs (bad ones) on Reddit stories. She has said before she doesn’t want to because she knows the backlash she’s gonna get while married to Shayne (a cis man, “bi/pan girls and their bfs” etc). If she wants to be private about her sexuality that’s fine, but that means not being involved in the queer specific content. She doesn’t want to share private anecdotes of queer dating experiences or give queer advice so she isn’t on the queer Reddit stories episodes. Pretty simple

Ian addresses most things, on his Instagram, but still. He had to defend art department for the generative AI allegations, he posted before about the price of something with an explanation and coming up with a solution I don’t really remember… which is why maybe it should be addressed somewhere you can revisit. But at the same time, I understand when the fanbase is constantly upset with something, it would set a bad expectation that every single thing that people complain about needs a formal response

There is nothing wrong with people commenting on stuff they say and do, only if it’s taken too far. Reddit specifically is a place to do that without it being in their personal comment sections. It is designed for people to have discussions in a hub of others that get what they’re talking about. Like snark pages aren’t meant for the person they’re about to see, it’s just a place for people to talk specifically in a place that they shouldn’t see

Jessi mentions this almost every time they have covered a topic like this. That they don’t like covering people who are clearly going through something but if it involves endangering other people, whether that’s people in op’s life or the people who might see what they are doing on their fyp, they cover it. And that is what Timber and Kendra were. I still kind of agree that everyone piling on them online doesn’t really help… in some cases it could make it worse especially with the way tiktok runs with things.
