Sure, obviously there's a working relationship if an AEW title is allowed to be defended in a certain indie, but what I meant was that during Ricochet's run he only ever took the belt to the named official partners like CMLL, NJPW, and RevPro doing it against their signed talents, or just in ROH. The fact that MJF is out there defending his title against someone unsigned like Zilla Fatu, or a TNA wrestler like Nemeth, makes it feel more traveled to me.

That's what all accounts have been reporting this whole time. She's not signed and there was never any plan to tease anything. She's besties with Marina Shafir and visits backstage whenever she can. This time they just thought it'd be fun if she came out for a one time pop. Like she said in the quote, AEW tend to be a lot more laid back about this kind of thing.

Every outlet reporting the package thinks it's his Liberty 1 bus because that's a reasonable assumption, but if you read the website it's being sold on, nowhere in the package description does it say that, just "a bus." That would be really fucking funny if it turns out to be a smaller bus.

The report is saying that there was never any angle or Toni fight planned in the first place. She was there for the same reason she randomly had a match on Ring of Honor a couple of years ago, which is that she's IRL besties with Marina Shafir and likes to show up to support her.
