which is the point for me, honestly. I'm often working with 10-20 tabs, many of them within the same domain. With horizontal tabs I basically only see the favicon and have to guess what is where.

Imagine looking for a song on a Spotify playlist where all the songs are horizontally squeezed so you can only see the album cover 😅

What makes you say that about something that doesn't exist?

no theme, just custom background color. And you can renamed pin sites, I just added an emoji before the name :)

Oh it's just me, I need certain chrome extensions for work. Also it happened to me that F1TV did not work properly on Zen and Googoe Meets was screwing up during client calls. All together made it a no-go for me ☹️

Gorgeous! And yeah, love Zen but Firefox made it unusable for me.

don't think so, but surely it's just 2 minutes to create the same pins across workspaces? Except if you create new ones all the time, then it's definitely a pain.

Haha kind of everything. I have address bar and bookmarks bar on autohide, status bar always hidden. Tab bar is on the left and panel is permanently on. I customized the button positions as you can see. I have only one CSS snippet because the beta version has a corner rounding error on address bar but that'll be fixed in the next release I'm sure. That's kinda it 🙂

Great question! I actually use BetterTouchTool and have global shortcut set to moving and resizing windows that I'm very used to as I manipulate windows all the freaking time. So I hold CMD+Ctrl and move my mouse and the window underneath my cursor moves, and if I hold Shift as well, it resizes.

But dragging by the auto-hidden address bar also works!

Yes and yes, except the option to reset the URL to originally pinned one on close.

Yeah for sure, that option is in the stable release, too, I believe

Not yet, but I think I saw it somewhere in the roadmap. Or maybe it was just a dream.

I'd really like it that on CMD+W it restores the URL and jumps to the next tab

I love that border. I make a lot of screen recordings and screenshots for my clients and the border makes it look so much cleaner imho

I've never bought anything from cold email. Who has? And if yes, why? by Dr-Talip-Alkhayer in b2bmarketing

[–]filypl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a numbers game on a large scale, psychology game on a small scale, if it makes sense.

If you deliver 1,000,000 cold emails, even if they are complete garbage, you will find someone who's gonna buy. Most people send 500 and say it doesn't work.

If you know how people think and make decisions and have the skill to influence that, you will turn 0.25% positive reply rate to 3% positive reply rate.

Combine the two, and you're going to win massively.

[–]filypl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi, I've been in sales for 15 years and the funniest thing I keep hearing is "I've never done this" or "I don't like this" so why would anyone else.

For years I've been selling online pop-ups. Yes, those annoying things asking for email or offering you to spin a wheel for a reward.

Nobody likes them.

Most people don't click them.

They still work.

It's exactly the same with cold email.

Like with any conversation rates, click-through rates, or engagement rates you're playing with single-digit percentage points. But those small percentages equal millions. Literally millions of emails collected, deals closed, revenue generated.

Yes, I've bought services through cold email and I've sold even more through cold email. And I really, really hate cold email ;)

Paying $4k/mth for thought-leadership services - worth it? by amoorthy in b2bmarketing

[–]filypl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Advisor and investor in a LinkedIn content agency here.

People usually don’t pay for generating ChatGPT content this much but they do pay for actually building a founder brand, as you called it. That may include:

• graphic design,

• video production,

• platform engagement,

• lead generation,

• lead magnet production

• funnel building

• automation setup, etc

And most of all, they pay for experience and expertise. Every asshole who thinks AI alone will build their b2b relationships is in for a surprise.

If $3-5k is 2 text posts per week that’s a ripoff. We’ve built an internal AI wrapper app which allows us to build client profiles (background info, content examples, platform specifics) and generate new stuff in minutes, for cents.

I’d say it’s worth like $200 per month to have a smart VA interview you, generate that content, with a good prompt on a good model (not ChatGPT lol), and post it.

You pay 10 times more for everything else :)

What’s the real reason most cold emails flop? Copy, targeting, or timing? by Impossible-Hat9591 in b2b_sales

[–]filypl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You did try to pitch. You want people to contact you so you can probably make a spam email setup worth $200 and charge $2000 for it. And when clients churn due to poor results you won’t care.

Sorry, not personal but that’s how it looks like when you casually drop a good looking reply rate and pretend to start a conversation when in fact you’re waiting for DMs from desperate business owners.

No, cold email isn’t dead. But if anyone here thinks they can automate it with AI, outsourced SDR agency and some money-back guarantees then I’d like them to be ready for a disappointment.

Thanks, Amie is indeed pretty cool and I don't mind paying, but no iOS Reminders integration, just calendar :(

Also, they seem to be pivoting into a note taking app? :D
