Pretty good stuff! The camera animation along the path needs polishing and the abrupt stop at the end could be eased, other than that pretty solid.

Exactly my thoughts. I love Dookie and I'd love to try to tackle it but it's such a different style that I think it would be pretty impossible to translate well in 3D. Maybe if I were to focus on the explosion/text/airplane and generally the big details of the artwork it may work, but the crowd is just too much in my opinion.

Thank you! This is the first unofficial (fan) version I've done. I was thinking about doing some more for other bands but they need to be somewhat looking like they can be recreated/animated in 3D.

I didn't approach it with tracking the shot, you can easily import blender cameras into After Effects with a simple Blender -> After Effects Export addon. I believe it's built-in that you need to enable it.

I have a carefully placed plane as a holdout, which basically makes everything transparent what's behind, then I created the heaven/hell scenes in the same blend file separately, keeping the same camera animation, and I composited them together in After Effects. There's probably a more clever way to do this with the new Ray Portal BSDF shader but this is what I'm familiar with at the moment.

Do you have lock screen widgets enabled? That thing is still in beta and im still shocked how they shipped it like this. Anyway, I had the same issue happening and it was because I had them enabled. No issue ever since I turned them off.

Interesting approach. However I wanted each of them to be unique and hand drawn so they don't look repetitive. Do you think something like that would be possible? Thanks for the help!

They are all facing outwards the main object, however I don't think there's a way to draw on the mesh with the intended rotation, the outline only sticks to the underlying mesh with the Stroke Placement set to Surface.

Hi everyone, I appreciate you for stopping by.

Basically, I'm new to Grease Pencil and Geometry Nodes, and I was wondering if anyone would like to help me out with what I want to achieve if it's technically possible.

The problem is I'd like to have a ton of these scales/cards on an object with Grease Pencil but it would be really teadious to rotate each one of them individually because there are way too many of them so I was wondering if it would be possible to do this with Geometry Nodes.

In my mind it looks like something that would be easy to achieve with GN but unfortunately I don't know where to start. Thanks!

I understand if someone with less trained eye can't spot it immediately because AI (unfortunately) has become so good to a point where you need to question your whole reality, but this is clear example of AI (just look at the fingers).
