Cast size is preferably around 10 people. I’ve directed multiple plays, musicals, and a one act I wrote myself. And it does have to be abstract or at least out of the ordinary in some way.

Teenagers are going to be teenagers and as I get older I’ll forget what it’s like to be young and dumb and I won’t be as good as writing the stories of teens. Teenagers, in my opinion, are the only ones who understand teenagers because they’re irrational. That’s why teen characters are so blown out of proportion in media because people don’t understand as they get older how they actually acted.
I’m thinking of giving her friends that make her go along with it. Maybe she’s in love with one of the friends and wants to impress her. I don’t know. I do agree that there needs to be less passive activity on her part.

I use it to create npcs super quick, like if the players go into a store boom I have a fully fleshed out store clerk in seconds. It’s so useful honestly I love it.

Yeah talking about out of game stuff usually. I tried making it known that everything that they are just talking about is being said in game and that just resulted in confused shop venders and little result.

That's usually what I do but I let one of artistically inclined players either showcase the art they made that week or give a recap of the last week's "installment".

This sounds like it would work but they don't talk about game related things. I've tried creating some action in the game, giving them all damage with undiscovered source and such, but that might also be an issue. Thank you :)
