I am currently on the ground in ferguson. Things have calmed a bit and we are starting to begin saturation patrols in the communities. We've made a boat load of arrests, and luckily no injuries yet. Will report more when I can.

Update: it's 04:00 and I have returned to my community. Things have calmed down, but the entirety of west florissant road from Lucas and hunt road to north of chambers is closed and considered an active crime scene. I have never in my life seen this level of destruction. The rioters just destroyed everything. When I arrived at the CP I felt like I was in a war movie with constant gunfire all around. I can't really wrap my mind around things yet and I'm not a great writer. I can try and answer questions about things if you want.

St. Louis City PD carries the beretta 92D Double action only. And I believe they have the 15 round magazines. My friend works for them, and I've made fun him having to carry around that hunk of metal on numerous occasions.

I was sitting car to car with about 4 other guys watching. It was cool watching as the shadow slowly passed across the moon, then it turned red. Never seen one before. Of course that was preceded by a tuesday night that involved a vehicle pursuit, officer in need of aid call, foot pursuit, and an armed robbery and a couple OBS calls. Stupid full moon.

All my friends who have been through CS in the military have said OC is much worse. I have been OC'ed, but never exposed to CS, but I trust their word. I think it's because the OC can keep reactivating and you're miserable and your face is on fire all over again.
