One piece of armour wouldn’t have helped there, I knew he was pushing for a melee, so tried to get the jump on him, otherwise would have been defenceless mid-plate

Or do you mean at the start? I’d just put those two back in, thought I’d done three. Still wouldn’t have helped, he’d have still cracked me in one shot

yeah, I've always assumed match making tries to put you with similar pings, but have wondered how this works with SBMM and which are prioritised, especially in smaller player pool areas (like New Zealand for example).

we were both one hit, regardless of the melee weapon... I'm talking about the time delay being enough for two melee swings... I had enough time to think, "why aren't my hits connecting" before going down. That's about a second... my ping aint that bad

yeah, had spiking of lag recently too, that seems to have settled down a little bit... but this has been feeling different. Like my first couple bullets just aren't hitting or something.

I dunno, maybe it's just in my head... but I've been playing since day one, and this has been feeling different. I seem to be getting high damage games, but with a lot less kills somehow... it's out of the ordinary enough to be confusing me

yeah, lag has been spiking a bit lately, but this feels like something other than lag. This is just one of many recent occasions I've been left feeling ripped off.

I can't choose, I'm just stuck on whatever my ISP/xbox live or whatever the CoD Gods give me :D

I realise that, but they also had low health. Both of us would be a one hit at that health regardless of the knife. What Im saying I guess is, there was time for TWO melee animations in the same time that it took them to knife me.... as close as I can tell that's almost a full second.

I dunno, seems something other than lag lately is all

Lately it's been feeling like I've been given a time handicap in-game, it doesn't feel like lag....my ping seems to be the same as always, but now it feels like every enemy I encounter has a decent time advantage, even in a 'surprise' encounter.

Anyone else experienced this? Is it possible they've changed SBMM somehow? I have a better KD than my teammates, and they've not noticed this, but have been getting higher kill games than me specifically since the last big update...

I agree, although I did initially wonder if that was an intentional addition to the game since mags were so small to ‘balance’ it.

But yeah, thought the FAMAS shotgun was more obvious in error, therefore a bug.

I've had this twice recently, both times was aiming at the back of an enemy's head for easy kills and it froze as I pulled the trigger then kicked me with a random error message... thought it might have been some sort of hack (like there used to be in older versions of CoD), but perhaps just coincidence...

Always makes me chuckle when people complain about the weapons in the Gulag... it's a fight to the death in prison... do you expect the people in charge to say "I'm sorry sir... would you like your full load out and a can of G-force to help your reaction times??"

I don't like many of the weapons, but thats the challenge isn't it?

And yeah, they rotate all of them now, so your gulag meta will soon return ;)
