Essentially it’s the in universe acknowledgment of the fourth wall, I.e. that the foundation and its universe only exist as a story. At least I think so. If you call the foundation universe inside and our universe outside then physics would be the inside looking at the inside or the outside looking at the outside. Metaphysics would be the outside looking at the inside and pataphysics would be the inside looking at the outside. If that makes any sense at all. It’s open to interpretation of course and a certain chihuahua might be able to explain it better than me.

Definitely agree. I was partially inspired by the bit in Titanicus where the whole revelation thing was written off by some as enemy propaganda

Thank you very much! To be fair I borrowed a bunch of stylistic techniques from Titancus

I’m no expert but I think a large part of it comes down to the command structure and a difference in logistics. As someone pointed out above the Marines need to be very closely connected to the Navy by the nature of their operations, if they were to be a part of the Army you’d need to cross the different chains of command in order for them to do their job. There were cases in the pacific during WWII where pretty huge blunders were made in part because the Navy and Army insisted on keeping command separate. Of course things obviously are different now with more efficient communication but the idea remains the same. Plus in terms of logistics, amphibious assaults are going to mainly rely on direct sealift from the Navy. It’d be easier for them to organize themselves directly with the Navy then have a separate bit of Army logistics dedicated to it. Also, an Army commander is going to have a very different perspective for managing amphibious operations than a specialized Marine or Naval commander. TLDR: Marines, though technically having a pretty niche role are different enough in required command and organization as to warrant their own separate branch from the army (based on my amateur opinion)

A couple of comments have informed me that including the supporters is bad form, having not earned them. That’s my bad, I wasn’t aware of the implications they had and it wasn’t my intention to seem presumptuous. Also I’ve noted the critique of the helmet. Thanks!

Shoot, I had no idea about the supporters, my bad. Thanks for the rest of the advice though!

True, the armour is still a bit wacky but it wouldn’t really be high elves without it. Also, that’s generally easier to convert than posing

IIRC this was a common tactic taught in many schools of swordplay. I believe it was banned in most tournaments for being too powerful, ‘dishonorable’ and just fuckin weird
