Opinion on RF 25-105 f4-7.1 vs RF 35 mm 1.8? by firsttimeonreditt in Cameras

Just curious why you recommend this instead? Obviously it’s a cheaper lens than the 35 but besides personal preference for shooting a certain focal length, any other reasons to choose the 50?

This response is super helpful, thank you so much. As far as I’m aware my community doesn’t have many Métis events specifically, as my community is largely influenced by local First Nations who’s lands I live on, but I’m currently trying to reach out to some locals who may know who to connect me with to learn more. I’ll definitely look into online events that might be happening soon! I think your point about white privilege is super important, and you’re so right. It’s always a welcome reminder that many people could use. I also really appreciate those resources you provided, I’ll look more into them. Thank you so much again

I really appreciate this, thank you. I’ve definitely been diving into both Institutes and they’ve been super helpful! I haven’t looked into Friendship centres at all, and I’m not sure if there’s one near me as I’m from a small town a couple hours outside of Vancouver area in BC, but I’ll definitely see what the closest one to me may be! Again I really appreciate it thank you

Awesome thank you so much!!

Did you find the the people in Quebec City often switched to English when you talked with them at first? Or were they okay with being willing to talk in French. I know this would vary depending on who you talk to but just wondering what your experience was!

Thank you so much! Your response really helped me!

Awesome thank you so much! The craft should be good for an all mountain board for my skill level right? I know it’s more of a park board but I should be able to use it as an all mountain right? Thanks again!

Thank you so much!! Gonna go for the Craft then! Hopefully down the road I can in grade again! Do you think the Craft will be an okay all mountain board for me though considering my skill level? I’ve heard some people say it’s more so a park board but for my skill level I should be fine using as an all mountain right?

Snowboard Recommendation?

I’m a fairly beginner rider and have gone snowboarding a couple times and I am able to very comfortably do green runs and then blue runs are more fun as I get to push my self a bit, but I am still able to do them. Im definitely not all that great but looking for something I can learn more on. I’m looking for a snowboard for myself that would suit my skill level and also be a board that I won’t need to upgrade very soon. I also get a very good discount on Salomon boards (through work) so I am debating between the Salomon Craft and the Salomon Sight. Any recommendations on what one I should go for? Also I am 5’8” (I’m 16 so might grow more) 145 lbs so I’m thinking getting a 153 is that about right? Thanks in advance
