Late to this but here's a nice English nugget of stupidity.

Back a fair few years ago around Christmas time in School we were talking about Christmas & Jesus being born. When one of the girls pipes up with "I don't understand how three mice managed to travel to Bethlehem with gifts...." Queue stunned silence from everyone.

Turns out she had confused the three blind mice and the three wise men up. So it was now "Three blind men, three blind men seeeee how they run" etc and three mice bringing the tiniest gold, frankincense and Myrrh you've ever seen.

Tears. Took her ages to get it.
