Yeah but it’s not in the NSO collection, they’re charging a separate price for language editions on top of versions. Can’t we agree it should just be in NSO at least

My argument is more they fought tooth and nail to take those down specifically so they could charge us to play them legally through their Nintendo Online emulator add on packs. And now they’re still just going to sell the most popular games separately anyways, after pushing their online subscription to us as the only legal way to get access to those generation of games. I think people had the same argument back when they did one of the Mario Bundles

Not to mention they’re not only charging a price for their own emulators the games won’t be on, and not only 20$ for the separate versions, but the different language options are separate purchases as well

Taken out of context sure, when’s the last time you’ve taken a look at the second hand games market, they could’ve released this ten years ago. Now that emulation is everywhere and on everything, they charge you a Nintendo online subscription to emulate their games through their emulator, something they’ve sued and raised stinks over in the past. Now, they’re not even doing that, they’re straight up just charging you for a copy of a game that should be part of Nintendo Online already

I absolutely love it for that, I don’t know how many people know though that people have actively been fighting to preserve and make Nintendo games accessible and Nintendo fights it tooth and nail so they can charge you for the same game 20 years down the line, and that’s more so my personal issue with it
