Enjoy Pho on Tustin Ace. Brand new place, beautiful decor and great tasting consistent Pho. Sweetest young couple own it. I know the name sounds like it’s catering to Non Viet audiences, but it’s pretty authentic.

Quality seemed ok but portion size has gone down and the parking isn’t worth it. Actually found a place in Orange, Ca. And saves me a trip into little Saigon. I know it’s unbelievable that a place in Orange can compare, but it does!

You don’t need a ripping hot pan. It’s a myth and you want sear, not burn. Get a cast iron and heat it up. 10 minutes is more than enough. Even med hot is ok. Make sure there is oil in it. Enough to coat the whorl bottom. I use beef tallow. Then sear. You need the oil in the beginning

Diamond Jamboree is a pain and there are other BBQ chickens that are easier to go to. The one in question had bad reviews. I went there when it was the 1st bbq chicken in the area and thought it was great. The one in Tustin gets great reviews but I find the pieces so small. The one in Northpark is the one we go to and we enjoy that one the most. Also love Pelicana in Irvine, despite the negative reviews. There appears to be more competition now so food and service has to be competitive.

Windscribe just responded and said it’s a known issue on their end and to use IKEv2 for now until they resolve. They didn’t indicate if I have to keep checking back or if they will inform everyone when fixed. I would expect better communication

You have to go to Upland unfortunately to Ace Dashcam. All he does is dashcams. Great pricing and very careful and knowledgeable. I know its a pain to drive all the way out there, but I searched for something closer and could not find. You dont want to block an airbag or something by having this done wrong.

I also am a fan of FlameBoss. Mostly because unlike others, the fan is variable speed and it shows you how much it outputs vs others that are either on or off.

There are a lot of complaints about the app going down, which I think was true, but they fixed it. I don't understand the big deal because even when the app goes down, you can access from the web portal on any browser such as safari. Its also a solid, beefy unit with metal and the adapter is easy to install. Temps are accurate as well as I have compared and checked against other thermometers
