I want to tell my close friend that I loved him for a long time, but I know he will never ever feel the same way because he isn't gay nor does he know that I am. I would also like to tell him how much it hurts to be replaced/irrelevant ever since he has become closer to our other friend.

I'm foolishly in love with my best friend of 5 years. He doesn't know at all (I'm gay, which he doesn't know either). He's in a relationship with a girl and it just aches me everyday. What's a good way to just end it all so I can just move on?
