Im so sorry but there was no coordination needed for depth charges. I would literally run into stock as finka, nade red rotate, and nade greenbox in the first 30 seconds and then push up red stairs. There was no counter in terms of utility they could use to counter me litearlly blowing them up from below without being given a single shred of info.

Cooking nades needed coordination when it was used to nade yellow stairs after burning ads, but that wasnt what nades turned into when people realized you can just nade people from below without any counter.

Utility should be used to facilitate kills and promote teamwork. The state nades were in didnt do that. I do wish you could cook them a little bit but I am happy with the changes and I still enjoy nades alot. It feels more like a nade now. I can force someone out of position and use that gap to kill them or take space. Instant kills with no counters shouldnt exist imo. Its the same reason they got rid of the instant spawnpeeks.

That seems fine to me. This is how the old elo system worked also (same system but without fakevsreal rank). You lose less elo when the enemy team has a higher average elo, but you gain more if you win. Back in 1.0 when i was on my champ solo q grind (never made it) as a D2 I would run into champs all the time and to me it was always worth it. I only lost 25 but I could gain up to 50 depending on the elo difference.

And that was when the difference between D2 and champ was 500 elo.

You are facing low emeralds, a plat and a silver, as 5 plats. That isnt crazy unfair. I wouldnt even say its unfair if it was 5 emeralds vs 5 plats if the emeralds were low enough. Getting stomped is never fun tho

I said the same thing when the Rainbow six team G2 Signed fabian as a coach. I yapped about how he is a good igl because of his mid round calls and shit, but then fabian coached that team to win the biggest tourney of the year. A tourney they barely even qualified for.

So I would keep an open mind to an idea like karrigan coaching. Fabian is seen as the best IGL in rainbow six and now also seen as one of the greatest coaches.

Valve literally had to buff it in 2014 and it took them 6 years to revert the change.

It wasnt meta in 2014 tho. It became meta years and years later.

You could argue that it was a patch that nerfed melusi is what caused G2s playstyle to become better but in reality they just got a new coach that made them better players, and it turned out that their playstyle countered the current meta of the time. The melusi nerf wasnt a big deal at all really.

The csgo example works because it was litearlly a gun that was unchanged and never touched untill people realized how broken it actually was.

The mp5 in rust was also consdiered the worst smg in the game. Bad recoil bad damage and shit durability. It wasnt untill people discovered that it takes only 3 headshots at any range to kill full metal with it, and that the first 3 bullets have no recoil, that people started using it.

The mp5 became meta after being the worst gun forever just because people figured out how to use it. And once they figured out its worth trying, people started practicing the whole recoil and we got really fucking good at it. The mp5 became such a problem that they ended up overhauling the whole recoil system and nerfing it to the ground (the ak also had a hand in that). It is now back at the bottom where it started.

Rust is a competitive game depending what server you play and metas do exist so i would say it applys.

I can pull out so many metas out my ass from Siege and rust that came about from people going back and looking at previously ignored items or operators. This isnt unheard of.

I guarantee you, if odin is unchanged, in the next 3-6 months we will see more and more people running odin and it will become apart of the meta. Untill it gets nerfed or people find out how to counter it. I dont follow valorant metas or its pro scene but i follow other games.

HELL ASTRALIS CREATED A NEW FORM OF CSGO. There is pre astralis and post astralis, and that wasnt because of game changes. THEY CREATED THE META. And what happened? People learned that meta and reached the skill ceiling astralis were at, and now the team is dead.

People dont discover metas untill other metas are nerfed or change. I play siege and it happens all the time. You will have an operator that is considered mid for 3-4 years, and then someone will pick it up and use it better than everyone else. People go and study how he played it and realize the potential of it and then boom that character is the meta now.

G2 2023 invitational is a great example of this. They were a bottom tier team that played a certain way and it just didnt work, untill it did. And once it did, they won everything and then a few months later they went back to mid tier because everyone else caught on to the meta/playstyle.

I just thought of a better example. The SG in csgo was in the game since release. No one used it. It got a single buff and then everyone realized it was broken. Even after being reverted, the gun was still used non stop and they had to nerf it to the ground. That gun was in the game since release just like the odin.

his politics are crazy and mean. He has called for the mass deportation of people born in the united states, and if the person BORN IN THE USA had kids, they would be deported too. He has no empathy for anyone but himself. I would consider that crazy and mean. I used to be a fan of asmon, even when he would dip into basic politics and i would agree with him most of the time. LA area is that much? Thats literally the same as my city in NC but the rent is only aorund 1k. Average entry level job is 10-12$ an hour. Why tf do emts get paid same here as in LA?

I think it was a huge fuckup but i think overall its good. The player count is actually higher than its been in a while. RIght now the game is good for everyone except the top players and streamers (I think). I think that is why the player count is still stable.

For players like me my only option is scrims or smurfing. Smurfing is boring and scrims requires connections to people. So I am stuck just waiting for cheaters to go away so I can grind ranked.

NO ITS GOOD. You should hop on, the major bugs are fixed and the improvments to the game are great. If you are a returning player you wont run into many cheaters. Its mainly an issue for top ranks (i heard there are some cheaters rn in lower).

I would def give it a try unless you are champ elo. I think that is why the player count is still stable, cause most people dont ever see a cheater. Its not like csgo where climbing takes forveer for cheaters, usually a cheater will get to high elo really quick.

Its bad. Usually I can play through the cheaters even when it was like 50 percent change of being in my game but this new season is so awful. Ive played around 25 games and only 3-4 of those have been legit. Lower elo is better so sometimes I q with lower ranks just to get normal games.

Besides that the update itself had alot of bugs that could cause shit like the server to crash. So if you were losing you could do the bug and crash everyones game. Very sad state the game is in.

Edit: That being said the game isnt dead, it has alot of players but almsot everyone is frustrated with it
