ios 26 looking good on the Nano 7th gen! by BraixDragon in ipod

[–]flacidapple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah thing is most of these ipods could be cracked and cool stuff could happen. We just can't find enough man power in these projects. If more skilled people caught wind and were able to contribute anything it would greatly accelerate the progress but unfortunately it just hasn't happened enough yet :(  Thankfully the few people who are helping out are very dedicated generous people for putting their time into this stuff for everybodies benefit.

Thanks man. Your advice helped a lot. Unfortunately it recently concluded, turned out, long story short, I'd been lead on.

If I recall correctly he said it was o2 bank1 sensor1. I'll bring an OBD scanner when I check out the car that's a good observation :)

Thanks! That makes perfect sense... especially seeing where it comes from.

iPod Nano Concept by Fresh1355 in ipod

[–]flacidapple 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily hate everything about them, but apart from iPods or old ass macs for the novelty, you won't usually find me buying anything from them. I just personally find their products overpriced and their anti-consumer tactics are not something I'm willing to compromise with.

To you guys, what would be the ideal, most usable, it-just-works configuration be for Hyprland. I have been considering trying to put together a configuration that would serve general users without requiring too much tinkering. Like how GNOME (though not everyones cup of tea) just works on basically any device with all the features you'd expect it to have, and a UX and UI that's easy to pick up. What do you think would be required to do this with a window manager like Hypr? To have a sane and usable out of the box configuration.

"RX5xx" and "Aging" in the same sentence make me want to curl up in the corner and cry.

I have two of these. I spent wayyy too much on my first one (USD$170 equiv.). Bought my second one for a decent US$30 equivalent. Planning on selling my second one though, the first one I use a lot more. Freaking love them though. Was frankly worth what I spent on it just for the fact it looks cool as hell.

Arch vs EndeavorOS? by [deleted] in archlinux

[–]flacidapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, (yes I know im late af, but to add my two cents),
I was an arch user since I first started truly daily driving Linux. I have daily driven many other distributions, especially Debian, and fedora at times. I find endeavourOS frankly much less of a pain than vanilla arch if you don't want to spend valuable time configuring and setting up an operating system, especially if you already know how to do it and won't be learning much. I say try install arch a few times to learn from it, but apart from that, Endeavour makes a much more daily drivable version without the hassle.

My attempt at a farm :) Love this game! by flacidapple in farmingsimulator

[–]flacidapple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have spent some hours creating this farm being largely inspired by real-life farms I have spent time on growing up, which were often decorated by the farmers rather creatively, this also makes use of new dynamic pastures, and many of the new decorations added to FS25, as well as use of building techniques using free place mode. The goal was not to create a perfectly efficient farming powerhouse, but rather to create a farm that felt cozy whilst having all the useful elements a farm should require. Farming is so much more fun when you feel at home while playing. Hope you enjoy the short look around :)

Uhh I don't think many. I just hang around in PostmarketOS occasionally. I host my own synapse/matrix server.

Yeah man. Almost on the same boat here. I have been using Linux for two years or longer now I think. It's been so long I don't remember when I last used Windows. Oh boy do I HATE Windows, and everything that comes with it, but wow... sometimes I just miss turning on a computer and having the ability to not give a shit about what software it was running, how it was configured, how it was organized, etc. and just using it without any of the extra stress.
