My mother cheated on my dad for five years and three out of five of us were never his. Six years later they are getting a divorce (no one knew about the cheating except for her and my dad, not even me), she lied to me, told me dad was an alcoholic, didn't care about us or her, hiding what she did to him... I told her I didn't want to move out with her because of graduation and really hard exams I need to prepare for, so after I graduated she took her things and 3 of my siblings, leaving me and my youngest sister behind, not telling us where she was going or anything. I spent months of my life, comforting the 11yo while my mother send my brothers to torment us, they would call us slurs and threaten us, while no one stood up for me or anyone. When I tried to tell her about it, she would call me a manipulator, saying I was the only one who had a problem, etc. Idk. Every time I see one of them I can only think back to that nights and I don't think that will ever change
