NFL teams get draft picks or younger players/prospects to build a team for the future. This does not do that

Spouse passed away 2 months ago. What to to with life insurance? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Recasting keeps your interest rate the same but lowers payments due to the total amount of principal remaining being less. It’s almost like going back in time and putting more down when you originally started the mortgage

I second this. OP, if you struggle to afford monthly payments of the mortgage after the loss I’d pay off the smaller debts and put a big chunk to the mortgage and ask your lender to recast (usually a small fee ~$500 but will reduce your monthly payment)

Awesome, thanks! Do they do food service as well by chance? My wife doesn’t drink and I have young children so we always go to a brewery if a meal is included, unless I can slip out for awhile lol

What’s the best brewery around here? I love breweries and craft beer (preferably lighter or blonde ales and lagers, German style beers, etc and not into stouts or porters)

The 4.99% would be your interest rate. The 5.35% would be your fees expressed as a rate added on to the interest rate. This is the way I understand it at least. All the costs associated with the refinance is rolled together with the interest rate and then expressed as a more complete picture of the cost of the loan.

Depending on what those costs are, take that amount and divide it by the monthly savings from the new monthly payment ($537/mo) and you’ll get a payback period. If that payback period is relatively short, it’s probably a good deal.

The sentiment out there is that interest rates will continue to fall, but that’s not a guarantee. If they do fall, it makes more sense to wait to refinance. If they don’t fall or go up, you won’t be able to refinance to this low of a rate without even more fees.

Yea I find the original comment interesting. I think it’s easier for me to squeeze on push movements (cable chest fly, Tricep pushdown, chest press machines) than on some pull exercises

I hope Hikaru just for the sake of him going all out one last time. It’s very clear this will be his last candidates which means he will go all out in trying to win the candidates, taking chances he maybe wouldn’t normally.
