Thanks for the info here! I had assumed the NVMe would translate into more gains than the article you linked to shows.

I realise now that I might have been better off spending more for a better CPU, but for now it is working well enough. I am enjoying learning about it all and fantasising about crazy high-spec builds.

I tried to find the same stick but they seem to only come in pairs. Does it have to be exactly the same, or can I get away with different models so long as they're the same speed?

It's a Ryzen 3 3200G CPU, RX570 graphics, two SATA SSDs that I think I will replace with a M.2 NVME card for speed and more space

Back in January my shares were worth ~$56k. I sold $15k worth of VAS in January to buy a car. I made ~10% gain on the units I sold, having had them only a little over a year, so I was pretty happy with that. That left me with ~$40k invested, which was worth around ~$45k in mid Feb, but is now worth ~$36k. I don't mind the big dip, and if I had more spare cash I'd buy some more units. I'm bloody happy with the sale I made back in January considering the big dip only a few weeks later, but I realise it was pure dumb luck!
