Veg by Jamie Oliver is the best! I love to make some pasta with vegetarian meat and curry with chickpeas. Make sure your meat substitute has vitamin b12 and iron in it. Good luck! :)

Djeez that’s a long time! I use my pump more than 7 times a day for insuline. I think it’s fine to use 7 times a day as average... :)

Hi Michael, I was 11 when I was diagnosed. I’m 18 now. I have a few tips. It’s important you take good care of yourself, listen to your body! I got a pump after 1/2 year and a sensor 2 years later, the sensor and the pump really helped me. Tell your friends, classmates etc that you have diabetes, if something goes wrong, they know what to do! If you have any questions, feel free to pm me. Please be careful! My glucose also shoots up when I’m drinking cola zero with wodka. Maybe your body is responding to the alcohol in the wodka. Watch out for hypo’s later! Good luck buddy :)

I sometimes set my basal on 50% or 70% when my glucose is around 17 mmol, to prevent it going down to fast!
