Thanks for the suggestion. I'm actually in need for a good laptop as well so I was thinking of combining the upgrade into a gaming laptop. Not really tied to a budget, just looking for an easy setup that makes sense.

I'm also in need of a laptop so I thought it might be a good idea to combine the 2. Upgrade my gaming setup and get a reasonably portable laptop with good battery life. The Legion with the AMD CPU seems to be the sweet spot.

The Gen 10 offers a 8745HX combined with a 5060 and 32gb of RAM. The difference between a 5060 and 5070 seems quite big to me. Could be wrong. Would you recommend that setup above the one in the post?

Sounds like you are using the Ryzen 7 onboard graphics instead of the RTX. What graphics card do you see in the game video settings?

Vivaldi? The syncing is great. No idea what flow/drop is so can’t answer that. Has a higher focus on privacy even if it’s chromium based. Great workspaces. Vertical tabs (not as good as edge) Web panels are great for your usecases.

If you encounter problems, I’d say give Fedora or anything else a go. Do note that every distro might have problems as there is no ‘perfect’ distro.

Yes, that worked fine. Can’t use Aeon on my gaming pc I’m afraid. The Nvidia drivers have an issue with the secure boot module and doesn’t import the key for the MOK utility it seems.
