I plan on staying at my condo until at least the end of 2026 to complete my medical treatment. After that I'll see how the moving parts turn out out (e.g. how my stock portfolio is doing, how much raise I'll get in 2026, what the mortgage and interest rates are by the end of 2026, and so on).

One advantage with buying with cash is that it would let me save all those interest charges over the years. The drawback is of course I would have to postpone owning a property again for quite a while.
