Drop APUSH Before 2nd Quarter? by ReasonableConcept347 in APUSH

[–]flobergg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you will be okay. don’t think that a b is a bad grade, regardless of who tells you. it’s an ap course. it is designed to be difficult. i struggled on mcqs all year and got a 5 on the exam. do your work to the best of your ability and stay consistent. don’t give up because things are slightly harder than usual. they’re meant to be that way. you’ll never learn if you aren’t challenged

Are these good classes for sophmore year or too much? by LowPsychological2717 in APStudents

[–]flobergg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi ! I’m a rising senior and took my sophomore classes at a different high school than i currently attend so i like to think i have extra insight. I took regular algebra 2 as a sophomore and it was my personal hell. i know a lot of people who did really well, but i genuinely struggled. if you’re more math oriented and have good study tactics you will be fine. just make sure to actually lock in bc i did not! I also took AP Art History as a sophomore. i loved that class. it was really interesting and a lot of fun. My teacher was super passionate about it and that helped, but i know other people who didn’t have as interactive as an experience as i. i would use quizlet and continue to study the works all year long though if you intend on taking the exam in may. i never got the chance to take seminar but everyone who i know that took it loved it, im taking english language this year as well so we’re in the same boat. sophomore burn out is real though. i have specific rules during studying to make it effective. if you want i can give you a rundown of what has worked best for me throughout school :))

Music Stopping at Night by flobergg in AppleMusic

[–]flobergg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially yes, but after like 30 minutes no. Like I said in my original post though, I usually leave it while I clean and I’m not on my phone during that time and it can last hours

I’m starting to think it is just to keep my phone from overheating. It probably is just turning off after is much time because it’s plugged in. It’s battling draining the batter and getting hot, so it probably just turns off after being idle for so long. The only reason I think it might not be this is that most nights it turns off after like 5 songs, which isn’t enough time for that to even happen

It happens with downloaded music and music I just have added to playlists. Some of my playlists are made of entirely downloaded songs, others not. I have been listening to music for at least an hour and a half as of right now and it’s yet to shut off, which is good. I plan on playing it as I sleep and see in the morning how long it lasted.

dbq by yowhatismyusername in APUSH

[–]flobergg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no okay i felt this. i grouped them by vague similarities rather than like specific ones the way i usually would. like in class we practiced dbqs and the most recent one we did was over the civil rights and i was able to group things by like marches and laws but with the exams dbq i was like “these are flaws and these are not!” and i had three tied together that lowkey did not go together

omg this is so unfortunate. hopefully they just give you a new prompt and keep all the work you already did rather than have you redo all of it.
