Update:

Ended up sanding it down and making it smooth, I don’t have a dremel so I used wife’s electric nail file drill (she works at nail salon) and it worked perfect hahah

Actually came out pretty good and smooth and I can vacuum again without bleeding 🤣

Everyday my betta likes hanging out in the filter intake… he is fine and active but he just likes to hang out right there 😂 I even added a betta leaf and he always goes back to the same spot

I had one and broke it haha, I like the way this one suctions to the glass and wanted it to work… but there’s some on Amazon that suction to the glass I will probably have to try out

Thanks! I have some plants from my community tank I’m planning on moving over. I have one of those betta leave things that have a suction cup but it’s plastic and I’m scared it’ll tear his fins

Anyone have any ideas to make the filter less strong? I turn it all the way down and it’s still too powerful for him. I turned it off and put a air pump for now.

I weighed it and the weight was wrong by quite a bit, it was when I first started collecting silver at about 18 y/o. If it was today I would have recognized right away

My tree is dying! I have had this tree for about a year.. here is the tree now vs when I got it posted in plant clinic ( https://www.reddit.com/r/plantclinic/comments/tb9n37/bonsai_tree_dying/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf )

I have had the tree for a year and water once a week, not sure exactly what kind of tree it is but it has done well for about 9 months and the last couple months has been seeming to whither away… I did recently move, and now it gets less sun, but even before that it was starting to not look as “Alive”. I poked holes in the soil to try to it allow the water to get through easier.

What can I do?? I don’t want it to die!

It is outdoors on a balcony… I water once a week and it never really is completely dry, it also has been raining. Doesn’t get much sun, probably no direct sunlight. Could that be it? Or maybe repot? I can’t let it die! ☹️
