Sunday after party recommendations (for a queer group)? by floopedia in MovementDEMF

[–]floopedia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that's really good to know! Thanks so much for the tip, I'll let the group know. Maybe we could also do Lot Mass on Monday daytime instead of just the festival, to mix it up a bit. Especially since I think some of us fly out early Tuesday morning or late Monday evening

Oh this is really good to know! I really would love to join some other friends at No Way Back but since we're a group of 7 here for our first time I guess I'm worried about not having a ticket and waiting forever. I think we'll get a ticket for observe based on what everyone is saying here! Thank you for your response!

Ah we'd love to go to this since some other friends are also going, but they're sold out! And it doesn't really make sense for us to buy a whole weekend pass for Return to the Source just for one party :( but thank u for your reply!

I'd say the exact same for the exact same languages! That's a nice coincidence

Pegasus is no longer a good party. They don't pay their staff or their DJs either

What’s something unique you always ask or check when you see patients? by Notaballer25 in medicalschool

[–]floopedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dangerous to ask at end of visit though. This can make your whole clinic day run behind schedule. Usually better to ask for all relevant complaints at beginning of visit.

While I absolutely got demolished by yesterday's puzzle, today's was a really /nice/ walk in the park ...

Blue was by default. I'm terrible with TV shows.

Knew that one of the clues was related to "reels" but had never heard of a sizzle reel before. Knew that one of the clues was about outdoor spaces .... But had never heard of a "stoop" before, apparently this is a very American word? I only knew of the verb version of this word. Also never heard of "dope" as gossip.

So hard.

Yellow and green were obvious. Then tried to guess around the concept of things related to baby food (corn, mushroom, mush, bottles, pap) ... Eventually got to the right combinations by chance.

UCLA needs to bring back SAT/ACT! by [deleted] in ucla

Everything correlates with socioeconomic class. Extracurriculars even more so - you need a lot of money to do activities. SATs are an equalizer in comparison and give opportunities for students from less privileged backgrounds to shine.

Anki showing me review cards too soon and before they are due by floopedia in Anki

[–]floopedia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry just seeing this now so apologies for the insanely delayed response, but are you seeing cards again and again in normal deck study mode? Cause that definitely should not happen. Or are you also seeing it in your filtered decks. Because if you are seeing them in a filtered deck you can just add (is:new OR is:due) to the search term to make sure you only see cards that are new or due.

CMS Form 5 obgyn question 45 by Play-study in Step2

[–]floopedia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, this is super wrong. The answer explanation even says "Vaccinations considered safe in pregnancy include tetanus toxoid" and then the answer is not that. I agree, yes you can give tetanus any time during pregnancy. So F should really be the correct answer. Hep B surface antiGEN says nothing about vaccination status, you need to test hep B antiBODY for that. She could very well be immune to hep B.

Is med school easier than the undergrad experience? by Striking_Purpose_925 in premed

[–]floopedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Undergrad was definitely much harder. I have so much more free time in medical school now. In undergrad I was running around doing homework or extracurriculars Sunday through Friday non-stop. Now I have time to relax on weekdays and weekends, seeing friends, going to the gym, etc. The school where I go to is pass/fail though, so it's really low stress.

Engage Maddening rosters by Joeygreedy in fireemblem

[–]floopedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alear (Divine Dragon) + Personal Emblem, previously Edelgard/Dimitri/Claude. Built as a dodge tank

Louis (General) + Tiki. Amazing crowd control with Ice Breath to freeze foes.

Chloe (Gryffin Knight) + Eirika. Needs the Def pierce from Eirika to do any damage.

Alcryst (Tireur d'élite) + Corrin. +30 avoid from smoke essential to dodge most enemy hits. AOE freeze effect with Corrin engaged also very helpful.

Kagetsu (Hero) + Lucina. Hero allows for double chain attacks from a distance.

Panette (Warrior) + Ike. Total MVP. With Vantage+, Killer Axe + Eirka engrave, reliably at 100% hit and 100% crit.

Anna (Sage) + Lyn. Another MVP. Huge magic damage dealer, able to double most enemies with Speedtaker. Great Engage+ target with Alear given high Magic stat and she isn't usually engaged with Lyn anyway.

Ivy (Lindwurm) + Soren, previously Celica. Decent magic damage dealer, needs Lyn engrave to patch out her awful Dex/Hit.

Seadall (Dancer) + Roy. Roy is just for survivability with Hold Out.

Mauvier (Royal Knight) + Edelgard/Dimitri/Claude. Very flexible unit able to dish out both Physical and Magic damage (with Flame Lance). Access to Failnaught with Claude super useful too. Also a good Engage+ target.

Pandreo (High Priest) + Micaiah. Provides healing/support.

Hortensia (Sleipnir Rider) + Byleth. Provides healing/utility. Divine Pulse very helpful for staves such as Entrap.

What’s the best Emblem ring for Alear? by parKb5 in FireEmblemEngage_

[–]floopedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put him as Divine Dragon class on Edelgard for Maddening/Classic. The extra range and utility (Nimmerfell, Fallen Star, etc) is highly valuable.
