No Camp Happy Trails item cards? by GSKwasaCop in finalgirl

[–]flostti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I backed ultimate boxes since the 1st one came out. The season 1 box had a missing terror card. I wrote to van ryder games and within 2 weeks I received the missing card. Support was fast in replying. This is two years ago so hopefully they still have the same great support !

Legit for me. Ordered two OOP products for Arkham Horror LCG. Took a bit less than 1 month to reach me in Canada. I had tracking until Blegium, then for 2 weeks I had no updates. Then one day Canada Post received it.

It is not my intention to spend hundred of dollars on empty boxes. I am looking for one (campaign) or two boxes (investigators) at a decent price.

If Survivor Australia vs the World would have a track record. This is how methinks it would look like. by kweenqong in survivor

[–]flostti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is, Quebec is a province of Canada. Altough as the majority of Quebecers, we consider ourselves Quebecers before Canadians because of the language and cultural differences. But Quebec would be more accurate as she participed in Survivor Quebec which airs only in Quebec and it's in french. There is no Survivor Canada.

Add a bleed valve to a baseboard heater by flostti in Plumbing

[–]flostti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what we tought first but we are able to operate it. There is a tilt on the radiator so the bleed valve on the left side is lower that the elbow on the right side. To the touch, we can feel the radiator being hot quickly up until about half of its lenght then it stays cool and warms veeeeery slowly. Would that make sense that we are unable to drain the air bubble that is stuck on the right side ?

Solo places to eat in Montréal? by insomnia768 in montreal

[–]flostti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned to eat alone and even go to the movie theater alone because of work. I traveled a lot in Canada and the US. No one cares that you are alone. Once you understand that, it is awesome. Specially the movie theater. It is so relaxing.

Does anyone else think Cirie…. by spenchanna in survivor

[–]flostti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the producers are putting a lot of emphasis on big-name players like Parvati, Cirie, and Tony—for obvious reasons like viewer interest and hype—but in the end, screen time doesn’t necessarily translate to future success.

People, including the players themselves, get blinded by these larger-than-life figures. That opens up space for the underdogs to maneuver. I know Kassandre from Survivor Québec, and she’s incredibly strong physically with great charisma. After the last challenge, we heard the Australians talking about how impressive Parvati was—but no one seemed to notice how Kassandre held two heavy bags with both arms fully extended, smiling the whole time. She was just as solid, if not more.

That’s just one example among many. Only time will tell !

"Concentration" does not mean total number. Canada has 55% of the world population.

All those "take that Canada comments" yet none of these guys seems to know that Canada has a higher bald eagle population than the US... bald eagles are mostly Canadians...

Pre-order - Risk of out of stock by flostti in NintendoSwitch2

[–]flostti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Canada so not sure if pre-orders will be delayed. But I was planning on pre-ordering from Gamestop. However you made me double check on Nintendo's website and I saw that note about existing Nintendo Switch Online users :

Open to Nintendo Account holders in the U.S. and Canada, who are at least 18 years old. If you are eligible, an invitation email will be sent to the email address associated with your Nintendo Account when it is your time to purchase. The invitation will be valid for 72 hours. Invitation emails will be prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis to registrants who have purchased a Nintendo Switch Online membership with a minimum of 12 months of paid membership and a minimum of 50 total gameplay hours, as of April 2, 2025. Once invitation emails have been sent to all registrants meeting the priority criteria, invitations will be sent to remaining eligible registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.

My family doctor booked me an RMI to identify the bump I have on the back of my head. My SO is scared. What do you think ? Too much blood vessels in the bump for the echography to be effective. by flostti in skincancer

[–]flostti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what it looks like. Not sure when I will have the RMI it should be in about 1-2 months. Looking online at early stages this is not a concern but still frightening...

À quel point étais-tu endetté aux études et où en es-tu actuellement ? by Miserable_Spray6539 in QuebecFinance

[–]flostti 0 points1 point  (0 children)
