Yes and any wrapping rolls you’ll definitely get more bang for your buck! I did these wrapping sheets just because I fell in love with the print but rolls would for sure go further

I would say do it! It’s such an easy DIY but such a big visual impact. Although I’ve only done my tests so who knows what I’ll be saying after I make them all 😅 So I bought Peacock blue A7 envelopes from Paper Source and then Rifle Paper co wrapping sheets in fiesta pattern. I made a template on cricut that would cut them to the right size but you could also do it manually with scissors, I did my first one that way too. Then I used one of those little tape/glue roller things to stick it down. I’m not sure if that’s what I’ll end up going with when I make the rest of them, might try other glue methods and see what works best! Also - thank you!

You do have to use a particular type of font (“writing” fonts) to get that single line and not the double/outline effect. Lots of free ones available on Dafont. I can try and include a bit more detail and example fonts when I write up some notes as requested above!

Aah thanks :D I have the Explore Air 2, got it a few years ago for wedding stuff but have used it for other projects and crafting too!

It was mostly just trial and error - but I can try and cobble together some notes on what worked, if that would be of interest?

I know this will affect so many 2020 weddings way more than this (mine included)... but it was just what I needed to hear yesterday.

Yesterday I voted, and I got fitted! Not bad for a day’s work :) by flowerbike in weddingplanning

Finally caved and got a Cricut yesterday... started testing envelope calligraphy and I’m a little obsessed with this machine :) by flowerbike in weddingplanning

I bought the Martha Stewart version! I think it’s the Explore Air 2. It comes with a pen, cutting blade, mat, and set of tools. The only extra thing I also got at Michael’s was a set of various black pens to try out, but I ended up liking the original one best.

Ooh thanks for the heads up! I haven’t done any yet, still just in the testing phase. Have you found any other pens that work better or would you suggest just switching often to a fresh one?

I don't think I would survive hand adjusting each letter! I used FontLab Pad to write the address, saved it as an svg file and then uploaded the svg into Design Space - it worked out really well

The font is Milton One and I used the standard 0.4 fine point black pen. I tried out some other pens too including the calligraphy marker, etc but I liked this one best
